The Stonehouse Loft is a brand new building, built from the ground up in 2015. Designed by your host, with plans drawn by Jess Wilton, a great local Durango architect, it was built by people (your host again!) and for people who love modern design. The Loft features radiant heated concrete floors throughout, and a modern, bright, but cozy vibe. Located a half block off of Main Avenue in downtown Durango, you can walk to all the shops, restaurants, galleries and bars in minutes from this centrally located apartment. A king size bed, lovely shower and bathroom, and well equipped kitchen provide you with the comforts and conveniences of home. Close to mountain biking, hiking, the river and the Durango Silverton Narrow gauge railway. This property puts you close to everything Durango has to offer. We felt like we were living like rock stars during our four nights at George's place in Durango! We were first welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine for our vacation celebration.Splendid and spotless accommodations with absolutely gorgeous furniture and amenities! It was also within walking distance to cool restaurants and shops, in addition to being close to all the towns we explored during our trip!A truly amazing experience that we would highly recommend!
