the location, amenities, things in the kitchen, and general condition of the cottage were great. as with most places i've rented on the cape for over a decade, the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. don't move the furniture or beds cause you'll find all manner of things as we did: dust and hair bunnies, crumbs, toothbrushes, toys....you name it. the approach is that if it isn't seen, it doesn 't need cleaning. even crumbs on the breakfast table chairs. other than that, MM is a very professional and easy management company to work with. and all that being said, i'll return to the cottage again.

My family has rented from Martha Murray for years but I felt like the ball was dropped this time. The house wasn't very clean with hair on the bathroom floor, shower, and soap residue leftover in the shower. And upon checkout, I was going through the checkout list by vacuuming and I was vacuuming up food that we didn't buy that was clearly from the last tenant. The house had lots of bugs as well. We also had trash in our trash can when we arrived and the trash company never picked up on Friday like it stated. I called earlier in the week to address the cleanliness issue and upon checkout to address the garbage issue and both time I felt like I was spoke to with a very condescending tone. The location of the house was nice but overall I wouldn't rent this house again.
