We loved that it was a little off the beaten path and were able to enjoy the quiet of Hakuba in the space.

We enjoyed our stay and the host is really nice and provide daily driving service to the ski lift, supermarket and bus station at the end of our stay. Cosy room and a dryer room to put our snowboard equipment. there is kitchen with microwave and fridge to use.

location a little difficult to get to the ski lift by foot due to the snow up and down the hill, but the host provides drop off and pick up so its not an issue.

Beautiful lodge 10 mins walk out of town. There were heaps of toilets and wash areas for all the guests, and even a seperate mans and womans onsen in the basement which is free to use! Everything was well kept and clean. Hiroshi was an exceptional host and super nice guy. Use google translate if you dont speak japanese. He provided some free shuttle services to and from hakuba town which was much appreciated. Getting around from there was easy. Definitely glad we stayed here.

We had to go home

the property itself was extremely cozy, with a wood-fueled fire going in the game room and extremely comfy beds. there were heating units spread throughout the house, so I never felt cold. the shower in the basement was also absolutely fantastic! I love the onsen-style showers in general, and having one in the property was a genius touch. and I can’t say enough about the owners. I was picked up from the bus station, driven every morning to the mountains, and picked up each afternoon at an agreed-upon time, then driven into town each night to find a restaurant for dinner, then dropped off at the bus station for my journey home. it was absolutely exceptional. the hosts go above and beyond in every way. I would absolutely stay here anytime I come to visit Hakuba. nothing short of exceptional.
