We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, the pool was amazing and we were close to interstate so easy to get everywhere we wanted to. Communication with host was efficient and accommodating. The only thing was that we thought it was listed as two beds in th one room and there was only one, but there was a pullout sofabed. We would definitely stay again!

This was our 8th time to stay at this property for 2 weeks in May AND it was our first disappointment with the new owners (2025.)We were looking forward to a heated pool which we didn’t have for 3.5 days. It was too cold to enjoy the pool! We repeatedly communicated that we were looking forward to heated pool. Then we waited 3.5 days to enjoy a heated pool?!?! The patio/outside furniture needs a good power wash or to be replaced. The pillows, cushions and wicker furniture show wear and are dirty.We planned to use the grill (new in 2023), but it was so dirty that was impossible. We tried heating it up to clean it off, but that didn’t work! I have pictures to verify that if needed.The dishwasher smelled awful. We checked and the food filter was plugged with food.These are issues that should be checked prior to new renters arriving.The house is well stocked with paper supplies and towels. The new owners need to inspect the house when renters leave and before new renters arrive to insure that it is ready for guests.Although this was our 8th year, I’m not sure if we will return. The new owners are not maintaining the property to VRBO standards. She is a nice person but she’s not doing a good job.After 8 years of renting this property in May, we “may be moving on….”The new owner is a nice person. However she needs to be a responsible VRRO and carefully check property before and after renters.
