It was wonderful! Clean and close access to beach!

We had a lovely time at WaltersCarriage house. So close to the beach and such a nice rental. We had a few lights out and asked for a few more towels. It was so nice to have the bikes to ride around town. We didn’t have a car so this worked out perfectly. You don’t need a car and we were glad because parking can be difficult. Air conditioning worked great! Thank you for letting us stay there.

Great location and a walk around the corner and your at the beach! Parking is limited but once you find a spot you can walk to most any place in Rosemary in less than 5 minutes.

I gave this stay an overall rating of 3 stars but that was because of the proximity to the beach. With that said there are several other units in the area that are within steps of the beach too that are better. The unit was not very clean. There were coffee stains on the nightstand in the bedroom. I was able to wipe them off with Clorox wipe so I guess they weren't stains as much as just dirty. The sofa was kind of dingy and didn't feel very clean but I put a sheet over it so we could sit on it. There were dead spiders in the corners of the bathrooms. The knob to the fridge came off the first time we opened it but my husband was able to screw it back on. The decor is very dated. It was disappointing considering the high fees for cleaning and maintenance. I expected it to be pretty clean but it just wasn't. If you like to walk around in your underwear or naked this is not the place for you. The shutters on the front patio do not adjust and if someone is walking by at night and the lights are on they can see everything. The fabric shades on the windows on the side of the house do not fit very well either, you can get coverage on one side of the window but not the other. One of the reasons we picked this property is because it said there was parking available in half of the garage but we were told right before arriving that the owner had changed their mind and parking was no longer available. The parking in Rosemary beach is a nightmare and this was definitely not ideal. It was only made worse when a few days later another vacationer arrived to stay in the other house and they were allowed garage access to half of the garage.
