About this house rental
Adorable cottage in a tranquil, picturesque setting on a private lake in the spectacular South Cumberland Mountains.
Delightful and cozy, this 2022 custom built 800 square foot two bedroom cottage will be your sanctuary from reality.
Fall asleep to the sounds of frogs and crickets, an occasional owl and perhaps the glorious sound of the beautiful whip-poor-will. And just think of the incredible stargazing you can enjoy lying on a blanket by the lake!
This home has an open floor plan that is designed for gathering together and enjoying the time to unwind. The living / dining / kitchen area is open and has direct access to the covered back deck + view of the private lake.
The downstairs bedroom has a king size bed, the upstairs loft has two queens to sleep a total of 6
The kitchen is fully outfitted for cooking.
There is a large stone fire pit by the lake with comfy Adirondack chairs. Picnic table for family meals by the lake.
Enjoy walking the perimeter of the lake through the quiet woods of over 9 acres, with wildflowers, and beautiful native plants and trees along the way. Only one other house has access to the lake and property and it is discreetly tucked away out of sight.
Pack a picnic lunch and walk to the other side and enjoy the solitude!
You are welcome to bring your kayak and fish to your heart's content, you will find bass, brim, crappie and catfish. One end of the lake would be suitable for shoreline casting. Please note that the lake does not have a beach, but is surrounded by protective wetland along most of its shoreline. You can launch your kayak easily, however it is not suitable for wading or swimming.
The house is located down a long gravel driveway.
Just minutes away from the majesty of the new Savage Gulf State Park. This newest Tennessee State Park has over 30 miles of hiking for all skill levels, glorious waterfalls, and magnificent overlooks where you can see for miles.
Located just a few miles down the road from the Coalmont OHV Park and less than 30 minutes to the Caverns Music Venue
Important Note: Ladybugs are very common in our region. Certain times a year we do experience some ladybugs inside of homes. Please know that all lady bugs are removed by housekeepers during the cleaning process, but are likely to be back quite quickly in large quantities.

Such a cute spot! They let us use their kayak to go out and fish. Grill was provided. The back yard felt secluded and the croaking frogs were all we could hear. The bed was very comfy. They had sufficient cookware. Super close to good hiking. Would stay here again.

Quiet retreat base near to some reputable hikes. Love the front deck that is well covered so you can sit out even if it's raining.

Beershaba Lake Retreat was just perfect for my girls weekend getaway. It had everything we needed for cooking our breakfast and dinner. The beds were very comfortable . We loved having coffee on the deck every morning and listening to the frogs sing at night. Definitely would return for another visit.

I was a bit disappointed about the fact that I booked for a whole week and had not enough toilet paper or trash bags. If I’m traveling and booking for a week it’s so I can save on cooking as well! Couches were so dirty didn’t even sit on them. The only one rr for a 6 people stay one mirror, also restroom was moldy at roof. Love the property and the nature just those things that would be better if it improved!
