Secluded, amazing artesian home in beautiful Coppingers Cove - outdoor paradise

I had received check in instructions from the host a few days in advance, it specifically states not to lock the handle because of a key issue. No big deal for us during our stay, but whoever had the rental prior apparently couldn’t follow those instructions, because when we arrived the door was locked, and we were unable to enter the property. After finally getting in contact with the host - we obtained entry and found that the place was a mess! There was trash throughout the house, the beds were slept in and the bathroom and kitchens were dirty. The host offered a refund on the cleaning fee and we clean and do our own linens or to send someone to the house to clean. I requested both. Someone did come to the house and clean but we felt we had to leave the house to give some space and pick up some food for the evening and we’re gone over an hour, and they were still there when we returned. And I’ve yet to see a refund on the cleaning fee. Otherwise, once the house was cleaned, it was good. Ample space within the house, it had everything we needed and lots of hiking places.

Everything was as listed. Although we couldn’t find the swimming hole, I did not ask. We had a lot of excursions we went on with the kids and honestly the water would’ve been too cold for April anyway. The house is secluded but not too far away from civilization. The house is beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our spring break. Nice break for the fast life.

The 1 chair in the living room has both front legs broken and we couldn't use it. The creek boardering the property is a dry creek bed. House was okay but had alot of privacy. Really good if you ride dirt bikes with the riding area next door.
