The Space:
Welcome to The Capitola Beach Haven, our charming beach cottage nestled in the heart of Capitola, California. Located within walking distance of the beach, a variety of bars, restaurants, and shopping outlets, our property puts you right in the middle of all the action.
The Capitola Beach Haven is conveniently split into two units, making it perfect for families who appreciate both togetherness and privacy. The left unit features a cozy living area, a comfortable bedroom with a double bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom with a shower. The right unit includes two bedrooms - one with a bunk bed - a room with a double bed, and another full bathroom with a shower. There is also a daybed in the common area which makes it possible to sleep the 7th guest. This unique setup allows you to walk through each room in a line to the back of the unit, providing a cozy, homey feeling. Please note that the bathrooms are equipped with showers only; there are no bath tubs available. There is no washer or dryer on the property.
Please note: there is only one parking pass provided for this unit. There is no free village parking for a second car.
After a day of beach fun or exploring Capitola's vibrant streets, come back to unwind on our private patio nestled between the two units. Outfitted with comfortable outdoor furniture, a gas BBQ, and delightful bistro lights, it's the perfect place for a relaxing evening under the stars.

- This neighborhood is very lively and located in downtown Capitola Village, so there is some traffic noise throughout the day and occasionally at night.
- There is no on site parking, however we do provide a parking permit and a map to the permitted spaces.
- We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.
- TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels.
- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.
Surf City Rentals Policy

We had a wonderful stay at our Capitola Beach Haven. We celebrated Mother's Day and our twin daughter's 31st birthdays and it couldn't have been more perfect. Beach Haven is doggie friendly so our son and his Golden were beyond stoked! We loved the open patio in between the two units. Surf City had everything well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had a nice dining table, the living room was tidy, inviting, and we loved the beach designs throughout. Jody and Hallie were our main contacts. They were GREAT! Very responsive and helpful in all our communications. Our next visit to Capitola will be another delightful stay at Beach Haven! cute and cozy property, two buildings with a nice open patio in between. super clean, well maintained, six of us fit perfectly between the two buildings and hung out in the front room with TV for dinner and movies. amazing location, steps away from the colonnade, river walk, beach, pizza my heart! pet friendly, our shorkie loved it. kitchen well stocked with utensils plates etc and stove fridge. great spot, would def rent again when staying in the area

Prkgis difficult some will bloc walkway of unit so These two bungalow units would be fine for some, but not for others. First let me say that the location to walk to Capitola Village and beach. It’s on a very old, narrow street that leads you right into the Village and all the restaurants. The layout of both units are strange though. For both units, each bathroom is in the back. So anyone sleeping must walk through those sleeping to use a bathroom. The kitchen counter in unit one ( only kitchen for both units) is really tiny. I mean you won’t have counter space to prep unless you move the coffee pot to the table. It’s bare necessaries for some things, like one frying pan. We brought an electric griddle so we cooked bacon on that while someone else cooked eggs at the stove. If 4 ppl are eating at the table, they have to get up if anyone wants to get in to the fridge. The front door was swollen so we could only open it about a third. There’s no window coverings on the back bathroom in unit one so there’s apts or condos that can look right in to see you getting out of shower. The keurig in unit 2 was broken. No tv in unit 2 but the couch in unit 1 can comfortably seat 3 ppl to watch tv.. maybe 4 if small.. Knives dull Take note, no dishwasher, no dish drainer no drynig mat. There were 2 kitchen towels and one oven mit. So the dish towels were wet for 3 days. No washer or dryer and no place to dry those wet clothes from the beach. Eat at restaurants! Good price tho. Location!!!
