The Old Bookshop - cheerful house located in St Ives centre

What a great place to spend 3 nights in St Ives, literally 1 minute to the town centre and shops, bars, restaurants and takeaways. Lovely welcome goodies of milk, bagels, butter, orange juice, biscuits and a bottle of Red Wine Thank You 😊 Great enclosed small back yard which we managed to sit in a couple of times and a BBQ (we did not use this) Comfy bed and good shower We were initially concerned about parking but we used the car park near the leisure centre (Trenwith Car Park) there is a regular bus (no.2) which runs every 10 minutes to the town centre (just around the corner from the old bookshop) and back ....we walked down which took about 10 minutes mainly down steps, but then caught the bus back up to the car when we needed to leave St Ives. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay again

The rental was very cozy and comfy. The only suggestion I would make is to have a sheet with instructions for use of the heat, can we use the fireplace? Also, we would prefer to have a cafetiere to make coffee. The pod coffee makers, I don't feel make a good cup of coffee and you also don't use throw away pods which is wasteful and uses materials that get wasted and go to the dump. All in all we had a very nice stay and loved the Town of St. Ives!

We stayed for two weeks at the old bookshop, it was a great base for us. Super close to the town and harbour, a couple minutes from the Barbara Hepworth museum and three convenience stores in walking distance. So many amazing restaurants nearby. Hosts were super communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here for a long weekend. Great location, quiet and cosy! We will certainly stay again longer next time. Great host! Thank you
