Welcome to Shorty's Hideaway ocean front home.
Please note that the neighbors to the south have outside cameras that may overlook the front of the house (driveway).
Just steps through the sand and dune grass to miles of pristine sandy beach. This beach house has been in the same family for all these years and has recently been remodeled with a completely new kitchen, modern appliances, new picture windows and heated floors. The open floor plan is perfect for family and friends to gather and share beach experiences or games for a little friendly competition. There is plenty of room for kids to spread out and within view while preparing meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The comfortable living room has a smart TV with a blue ray player or just hang out and watch the surf through the living and dining room view windows. Stay warm and dry snuggled in a cozy throw and observe the dramatic winter weather. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed with a smart TV and an ocean view along with a roomy master bath. A guest room and guest bath located on the other side of the living room and no stairs required because all spaces are at street level. BBQ on the east patio located out of the westerly winds or set in the sun and enjoy that novel you've been meaning to get to.
Walk south to Bob Straub Park and keep going to where the Nestucca River meets the ocean or head north towards the picturesque Cape Kiwanda and Haystack Rock. There is so much to explore along Pacific City's beautiful coastline including beach combing, whale watching and horseback riding. Bring your kayak to launch into the Nestucca River or rent one locally.
Sit on the dune behind the house and watch your kids and pets play on the beach, while the sun goes down for that spectacular sunset. Play a little, dream a little while time stands still. Reserve today and find out for yourself why nothing comes close to staying ocean front.

The house was so nicely set up for a relaxing weekend at the coast. Great kitchen setup with cute plates and lots of pots and pans. Fireplace and lovely dinning area with great view of the coast.

Nice layout of the house. Cute interior and beautiful views. Loved the garage to house access, made everything feel more secure.The beds were too hard and too raised for older folks. The couches pulled out to more comfortable beds but were not great to sit on for any period of time and no chairs to be another option. The walk to the beach was difficult. Great view from the top of the bluff but tough getting down and back up, so unfortunately, our time near the oceans edge was limited. We pulled the BBQ grill out to use it. It was "used" and had food on the grill, and had almost no gas to cook the meal.Great for our pet. She loved the tile floors. Thank you for the pet food mat and additional doggie bags. The temperature controls left some of the house much colder then it should have been.Would recommend for my adult children but not for mobility limited or those with children.
