About this apartment rental
Apartment in the central area, renovated with care and attention to detail, with all the amenities to ensure a wonderful holiday in Florence. There is no elevator but only two flights of stairs. The entrance introduces the apartment in a large living room and a kitchen area. There is a small laundry. Two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, two of this with a king-size bedroom and one with bunks beds. In the living room is a sofa bed for the other two guests. From the apartment, you can reach all the most famous monuments of the city and you will be just 3 minutes from the Accademia.
Car is not necessary, you can reach the Brunelleschi Dome in a short walk of 5 min. The house has everything you need for relaxing and cooking. The maximum number of guests Is 8 people. The location is very quiet, there is no noise coming from the neighbors.
I personally take good care of the guests and of the Apt. You will be alone in the apt but we are always at your disposal, available to help you during your stay. You will then find a few steps from home good restaurants, excellent bakeries for a "cappuccino and brioche" and all kinds of shops for every need . There are 2 markets within one block so Visit the Mercato Centrale and Sant\'Ambrogio market. Anything else that you might need can be found steps away at the Carrefour.

We had a mixed experience with our stay at this property.
Pros:
The apartment is in a good location and we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was very modern, clean and came with all the necessary supplies to get through our stay. All the air conditioners worked great and were very helpful with the extremely hot weather.
Cons:
The bedroom upstairs has a shower but the strip along the shower door was missing so it wasn't usable as it would flood the floor. We alerted the owner so hopefully that is fixed for the next guests.
The bedroom with the bunkbeds is tiny. It is suitable for one person and perhaps 2 very young small children but not for older kids/teenagers. We anticipated this and asked ahead of time for sheets for the pull out couch but they did not arrive.
There was supposed to be a washer and dryer but it is actually an all in one machine. We were unable to get the dryer portion to work (it would spin but there was no heat). We alerted the owner so perhaps that will be addressed.
The check in process is o.k. but we often struggled to get into the apartment or the main door because you need a cell signal or wifi to operate the virtual keys and we found our reception spotty.
Lastly we were overcharged for our stay. We reached out to her several times about this but she did not respond to that inquiry.
Overall we liked the apartment but were disappointed as we expected a dryer, a second shower and the ability to use the couch for sleeping. Communication with the host was less than ideal.
Depending on your needs and the number of guests the apartment could suit your needs as there were a number of pros to renting it. Just know that if you have any issues they may not be addressed in a timely manner.
