About this house rental
Residing just outside of Columbia Falls and on the east side of the Flathead River, the River View Retreat is ideally located within minutes driving distance (16.5 Miles) to the West entrance of Glacier National Park, the ever popular resort town of Whitefish and (8.5 miles) Glacier Park International Airport (FCA). Sitting on 1 acre with a gratuitous back yard and over 100 feet of river front this property has ample room for friends and family. The home features a 2,300 square foot ranch floor plan with generous kitchen and great room, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and rear attached deck which can be accessed from the Primary bedroom and the kitchen. Two main bedrooms furnish king beds and queens are furnished in the additional bedrooms. Enjoy the river view from a vaulted ceiling great room accentuated by a multitude of picture windows. Feel right at home with a fully functional kitchen providing abundant cabinet and counter space for storage and preparations. An island, a table with seating for eight and a patio door with a view of the Flathead River provides a fine setting for entertaining. Other amenities include washer and dryer, gas grill and a two car garage.

With snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, ice fishing and more, there's something for everyone who wants to play in the snow. The snow can arrive as early as October and can linger through May. Montana offers one of the longest winter season in the lower 48 states to skate, schuss, glide and soar.

We've stayed before at this property and enjoy it each time. It is close to Glacier, shopping, and restaurants. Additionally, the kitchen, grill, and firepit make it easy to stay and enjoy some downtime.We'd definitely stay again!

Home was clean bright and well stocked with the basics. Very comfortable furnishings and beds. Great layout, including deck and fire pit with plenty of seating. Beautiful serene setting on the Flathead River

Great place. Close to GNP west entrance (about 15 min) and an easy drive to many other locations. Hosts were very responsive to questions we had. The location on the river was wonderful and we were able to take advantage of the fire pit. Only negative was some road noise. We would stay there again.
