Whether you're a couple seeking a cozy retreat or a family ready for fun, this 1929 fully remodeled two-story home is designed to impress you AND the kids! Kids will ditch their tablet, at the abode! Just 7 miles to Whitefish, 16 miles to Glacier National Park and Kalispell, and 24 miles to Flathead Lake — you're perfectly positioned for unforgettable experiences, with minimal travel time!

Den is below half the house, parents, no basement underneath master bed/master bath at end of the house.
Parents have left feedback that they love the "distance" between sleeping quarters.
Premium towels, linens, pillows, and thoughtful touches throughout home.
House layout with large kitchen/backbar area allows those in the kitchen to converse and be included in living room/dining room discussion.
Kid-Approved & Family-Ready:
Kids love our large den downstairs! Avocado & animal plushies, Avocado lights, night lights throughout house, their own large TV, giant beanbag chair, board games, bicycles/helmets, outdoor games, and backyard firepit for smores. Parents can relax with a fresh cup of provided Keurig Starbucks & Costco coffees while the kids play safely out front or in the shaded/fenced backyard (50% covered by tall pines, beautiful year-round). Kids can be kids in Columbia Falls, and play freely outside.
Outdoor Living: ***CHANGE for 2026!***
***We are still a ZERO policy on tobacco because of its lingering affects. For 2026, OUTDOOR Vape and Canna vape is perfectly fine and legal in Montana, on site. Besides, its the Avocado Abode, we're all kinds of friendly here!***
The backyard is set up for relaxing:
Propane fire pit
4-burner stainless BBQ (with all utensils)
Wood patio table, chairs, umbrella, (second picnic table for kids!)
Hammock
Lawn seasonal fun like a EPIC golf game! CORNHOLE Tourney, oh yeah. Do that here!
The Shop & Storage:
A detached, shop includes secure parking, workbench, bikes (with helmets for all ages), and a keypad entry for peace of mind. There's even a second gravel driveway that fits a full-size truck and 30-foot trailer with ease on opposite side of house.

Our stay at The Avocado House was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. One of the most thoughtful touches was walking into the kitchen and seeing a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for us, along with a heartfelt note offering condolences for the loss of our beloved dog. That kindness meant more than words can express during such a tender time.The home itself was comfortable, peaceful, and a wonderful place to relax after exploring the beauty of Glacier National Park and surrounding area. The location was ideal—just a short drive to Glacier and conveniently located near many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. It made our stay easy and enjoyable.The thoughtful details throughout the house made it feel warm and inviting, and we appreciated the care that went into making guests feel at home.Thank you for creating such a lovely space and for showing such compassion and kindness. We will always remember our time here and the special welcome we received.

Amazing property and host!We had a wonderful stay at the Avocado Abode. I can’t say enough good things about the house and the host. The house is well stocked with anything you need for your stay. The host’s communications were informative and welcoming. The property is well maintained, very clean, and comfortable. It fit well for our family. Like a lot of visitors in the area we planned to be in Glacier for most of the trip. Unfortunately, historic rain fall shifted some of our plans. The host was proactively reaching out and giving us alternative activities and other thing things we may want to consider if the rain was impacting us. Really felt like someone who cared about your experience. I would recommend for anyone to stay here with confidence. We will be returning in the future and plan to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here, really wished we could have stayed longer! Absolutely no negatives at all. They have games, which we played and books that would appeal to all. Plenty of room to spread out. We would come back here in a heartbeat! Thank you!
