Garden nicely decorated with flowers, cacti, fig, citrus fruits, and birds for companions.
At 600 m from the beach walk of the sun, 300 m from all shops, and daily market and means of transport (SNCF and BUS).
Free parking in private property at 120 meters.
Access to this haven of peace by stairs, not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

This is a superlovely home with the most beautiful garden you can imagine! The hosts are both genuine and sweet and very keen to make your stay perfect!

Miguel is a wonderful host as is his wife Maria. Their bespoke room was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Exceptionally clean. We shortened our stay as we had seen all we needed in Menton. Our only gripes are the many steps to climb back up to the room if you walk into town for an evening meal. Anyone with heart/breathing difficulties would struggle with this. The garden is a beautiful spot looking out over the med, sadly the room is facing their home so privacy was an issue for us, if you dont mind that then its a perfect spot.

Small but perfectly formed. Comfortable studio with adequate facilities situated in the garden of the owners. A private garden with numerous seats and loungers is designated for the sole use of residents of the studio. The garden areas is laid out with an abundance of flowers, shrubs, avocado tree and has a panoramic and picturesque vista over Menton and beyond to the Med. In the terraces below and enviable vegetable / fruit garden. The property is as previous reviews state, an energetic climb up the steps from the village, less so if a car is available as this can be parked nearer the house. The solution is to plan your outings and minimise the trips down to the town. Public transport is easy, cheap and plentiful along the coast as well as up to the many medieval villages which are well worth the scary journey up the twisty narrow roads which are not for the faint hearted. Maria and Miguel were very friendly and helpful. Their English is limited as our French is but communication was manageable. A delightful couple.

Beautiful property nestled in the hills of Menton. It had all amentities that were needed. Miguel was very patient with our lack of French. The 300 m hike (as it was a hike) back to the house from the coast is not for the faint at heart but good to help refresh after a food filled day in town! Would go back for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Menton. The property was clean and pretty much turnkey, except for a few incidentals like laundry soap, etc. The owners are delightful people. Miguel met us at the train station in Menton, saving us money for a taxi. The night before we left, we were invited to join Miguel, Maria and their grandson, who interpreted for us, for appetizers and drinks. This was a special occasion and one we will not forget. Our only real criticism would be that we were not alerted to the fact that the walk to the property from Menton is a steep uphill jaunt. While we are elderly, my wife and I are in good shape yet still found the climb home each night arduous and challenging. If you don't have a car, climbing the path is your only option, aside from a taxi. And mosquitos were somewhat annoying on both the path and on the terrace area at the property. However, again, we very much enjoyed our stay and have many great memories.

The apartment itself was excellent for us two, with good facilities. The patio is lovely, ideal for us to use our camping gas barbecue. The view of Menton & the sea is beautiful. Maria & Miguel are excellent hosts, are two lovely people and very easy to get on with. Even though we can’t speak French we found communication easy specially with google translate on our I pad. All in all this is a beautiful place to stay. Les & Beryl
