The School House Inn is a spacious and comfortable two-story home perfect for relaxing or reconnecting with family and friends. Whether you are hosting a celebration, gathering with friends and family, spending time outdoors, attending a wedding or just looking for some tranquil time to yourself, you are sure to enjoy this property!
Erected in 1937, this large brick building has served as the Eau Galle School and the Eau Galle Civic Center leaving lots of room indoors and outdoors.
This stylish and newly remodeled building has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and sleeps up to 18 guests on new and comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen is fully stocked, has two refrigerators for extra storage and has new appliances for all your cooking needs. The dining table seats up to 10 guests, and extra fold-up tables and chairs are provided. The bathrooms are also fully stocked with essentials and new towels, while the laundry room has a brand-new washer and dryer for your convenience. New smart tv’s with streaming service options and free Wi-Fi in every bedroom, living room and game room! You can relax in front of the electric fireplace or in the 27-jet spa tub. The game room is sure to provide hours of fun with a dart board, pool table, ping pong table, foosball and air hockey table!
For our outdoor enthusiast we also have a paddle boat, 2 kayaks, outdoor games, fire pit, picnic tables and grills. Life jackets must be worn when using the paddle boat and kayaks. Children must be supervised at all times.
Located next to the Eau Galle Lake in Dunn county, this property is minutes away from Pepin, Buffalo, Pierce and Eau Claire Counties. With numerous lakes and rivers nearby, the Chippewa River and Mississippi River are not too far away! Amy was extremely responsive and the property is great. Everything was very clean and decorated to make us feel right at home. We loved spending time in the game room. Highly recommend booking this property!

Check in was very easy and the host was readily available as questions arose.The kitchen is well-stocked. It was great to have another fridge/freezer for drinks and ice. We cooked all our meals, so it was a bit tight for a group of 16 - but we made do my swapping out cooking and dish duties.

Our family loved staying at the School House Inn! Of the many locations we’ve rented over the years, this is at the top with the combination of on-site amenities, space inside and out, and cleanliness. The pictures don’t do it justice, what a gem!The historic exterior of the building was a draw to us, but we were all pleasantly surprised by how new and pristine the entire interior of the building felt. It had everything we needed and more, including amazing access to Lake Eau Galle.Amy is a super responsive host and gave great recommendations for local food and fun. The big bonus was when we realized how large the property really is and were able to add a game of kickball to what was already one of the best trips we’ve had in a long time.10/10. Sort of want to keep this one a secret before it gets booked up, but do yourself a favor and book now!
