The Whippoorwill Nest is nestled on a ridge near the end of a quiet private country road. This well maintained home includes many amenities for your home away from home! It is a three-story log cabin house with three bedrooms, three baths, two living rooms and a large kitchen nestled on 100+ acres. Over 4 miles of hiking trails take you on a scenic walk or snow shoe adventure through the pine trees and ridge top that has a 30 mile view of beautiful Jackson County forest land. Access to a large parking lot for snowmobile trailers that gives you quick access to the Black River Trail Riders snowmobile trail that runs through a portion of the property. Only a couple miles off Hwy 12/27, close to Hatfield and Black River Falls.

Big space that accommodates a good amount of people and has an amazing view. Good hiking trails nearby and not far from Black River Falls downtown area.This was perfect for my friends and I to gave a birthday and gaming weekend. Wish I could give more stars.
