Beautifully positioned in the stunning fishing village of Appledore is Snookers - this terraced holiday property is the perfect location for your visit.
Snookers is accessed via a cobbled footpath, just a short stroll away from the quayside, where you can watch the boats come in and the yachts sailing across the estuary. It is the perfect holiday choice for a relaxing coastal escape at any time of year. This delightful, historic property was once the snooker hall for the adjoining Bell Inn. It retains much of the original character, whilst providing spacious holiday accommodation for families and couples alike. The large living space provides the perfect spot to relax after a busy day exploring this delightful location.
Snookers is situated just a short walk away from the centre of Appledore, which is one of the prettiest villages in North Devon, with its myriad of narrow streets, quaint cottages, pubs, restaurants, craft shops, art galleries and the bustling quayside. You can take the ferry or drive round to Instow on the opposite side of the estuary, with its sandy beach, bars and restaurants. The wide golden sandy beaches of Northam Burrows and Westward Ho!, which are popular with surfers, are just 2 miles away. Bideford, Exmoor, Clovelly and Hartland Quay are close by and the area is a must for water sports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen. Whilst walkers and cyclists will enjoy the famous Tarka Trail which passes close by. For family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park are both situated close by. Fishing, horse riding and watersports within 5 miles. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
NB Parking is in a privately owned gated yard just around the corner from the property around a 30 second walk if that. And this property does not accept dogs.

Lovely, characterful cottage, which was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. Easy to walk to the bus stop, local shops and amazing walks along the estuary and beach. Had tasty meals at the pubs and restaurant. Good to have a parking space within the narrow, winding street.
