The Casa Belsito is centrally but quietly above Locarno in Orselina village near the famous Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso and the mountain railway stations to Cardada / Cimetta. She has a magical 180-degree panoramic view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains: from the snowcapped mountains in the east to the projected nature Magadino Plain, the Maggia delta to the palmenumrahmten Italian banks in the Southwest draws the eye. A spacious swimming pool (10 m x 3 m x 1.5 m), which is operated without chlorine addition with salt electrolysis, invites you to relax or exercise.
The studio at Casa Belsito has room for 2 persons is bright and friendly, completely renovated in 2008 and charmingly furnished. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and oven. Our five days at the apartment was supposed to be rainy but ended up being warm and sunny every day. We loved being able to use the pool and the room was spacious and newly remodeled. The hosts were very accommodating and I enjoyed conversing with them. They provided me with tips on the area too. There was a nice bakery and a cortina restaurant a few minutes walk away. The pretty garden that surrounded the house was an extra bonus.

This rental was clean, well stocked and had beautiful views of the lake and city. It had everything we needed and more. We loved all the fresh raspberries and grapes growing on the property. We did not have a car so we walked into town (be prepared for lots of stairs!) and used the funicular and buses. We also ate and shopped at the local Italian restaurant and the bakery which were both wonderful. Locarno is beautiful! The owners provided perfect instructions for entering the unit and provided a lot of information for things to do and hikes nearby. The kitchen was well stocked, bathroom was clean and roomy.
