About this apartment rental
Villa La Conche is located in the "Piraillan neighbourhood", in the oldest part of the village, overlooking the fishing and oyster port, only 150 metres from the beach and in the midst of the colourful cabins.
The Villa is 150 meters from the village beach where scenery changes with the movement of the tides. The 23 km of unspoiled ocean beaches running the entire length of the peninsula can be reached by cutting through the forest in just 15 minutes

Our "View over the Garden" apartment is on the ground floor of Villa La Conche. It can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests and has 3 bedrooms.
The apartment has been awarded a "Furnished Holiday Rental" 3 star rating and has a private parking space.
Its proximity to the food shops in Le Canon, the nearest village, is a plus, not forgetting the market (held in July and August) only 5 minutes away on foot!

Cap Ferret
The peninsula of 10 villages; 7 ocean beaches; 15 bay side beaches, every one is different, what they have in common: they are all nestled into the sheltered bay side of the peninsula. Cap Ferret is the last village, situated on the southern point of the peninsula, it separates the bay from the Atlantic Ocean, has a special atmosphere and landscapes, and faces out towards the giant Pyla sand dune.

Piraillan Reservoirs
4 minutes away on foot, a bird sanctuary with an educational walking trail across the site. You may be lucky enough to spot common cranes and egrets here. The trail is also a beauty spot for taking walks or jogging.

At high or low tide, there is always water; this is not the case everywhere across Arcachon Bay
2 small sandy beaches frequented by those "in the know", the sand visible or covered depending on the tide.
Very popular with families with young children, and with swimmers.

Had a fantastic stay at Villa Conche. The flat is conveniently located in the middle of the peninsula, close to everything. The flat is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and extremely well equipped, testifying to both the professionalism and generosity of spirit with which Corine welcomes her guests. We felt right at home and particularly appreciated the comfortable furniture, vast array of kitchen equipment (including a multitude of sharp knifes, pans and pots, and also a pot large enough to cook a lobster or langoustine), and the plancha grill on the outside terrace. Bicycles, paddle boards and kajaks can be hired separately from Corine at a fair price. Communication with our host was great, yet she was incredible discreet at the same time. I can highly recommend this property. A word of warning though: this flat is ideal for an extended family or two couples with a bunch of kids. Don't try to put adults in the bunk beds - these really are beds for kids.
Lege Cap Ferret is an incredibly beautiful place with a friendly and relaxed vibe. We loved the picturesque oyster villages with their profusion of oyster shacks serving excellent seafood right by the beach. Chai Anselme in Le Canon and Cabane 57 in Piraillan were our favourites. The market in Cap Ferret is fantastic, and if you can try to make some time to explore Arcachon and the Pyla dune on the other side of the bay. Le truc vert is the closest Atlantic beach with lifeguards, large shady parking and 2 cafes.

We stayed for a week with our family and young kids in the Villa Conche. We had a great time, we could rest well. It was so well organised by our host Corine. She thinks about every detail to make your vacation very smooth! We rent her bikes , it was so convenient. She helped us to check for the sailing club and welcome us with some local specialties, it was very sweet of her. She did her best to follow the rules about the COVID for the cleanliness. It is really well located , the wet market Piraillan is for us the best (we know quite well Cap Ferret) and it was few minutes from our villa. We are very close to the beach and it was easy to ride to the Cap wit our bikes on the trail. We will come back for sure ! We will definitely recommend her villa to ours friends !

Really lovely accommodation and great host. Very convenient o local amenities, and the bus from Bordeaux stops under a minute away. Bikes were provided by the host for an additional fee which was very good value.
