About this house rental

This 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, fully furnished 1800 square foot home, sits on 2 acres bordering the national forest and right beside Venable Creek. The master bedroom has a king bed, walk in closet and full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washer and dryer. Attached to the kitchen are a dining room with a view and a living room with a wood burning fireplace. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms. Located in an alpine setting, it is less than 0.5 mile from the Venable, Comanche and Rainbow trail head. Direct TV with all available channels on flat screen TVs in living room and kids bunk room.

Our stay at Richard’s place in Westcliffe was wonderful! The property is stunning and clearly well-tended to. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay for our friends wedding. We came from the east coast so this quiet getaway, unplugged, enjoying the creek and scenery was better than we even expected. Due to the wildfires we were not able to utilize the grill or fire table but that did not put a damper on the stay at all— the kitchen is perfect and well-equipped. The stargazing in this area is unlike anything I’ve ever seen! I would absolutely come back and recommend this home for your trip!

Very nice cabin. The stream that runs behind it was magical. We enjoyed eating on the patio and listening to the noise of the stream. Has everything you need in the kitchen, beds are comfortable and the views are spectacular.

This is an amazing cabin. It is very clean and well-maintained. The host is great and very easy to get in touch with. The creek beside the back porch is glorious. The cabin is very close to two trailheads if you’re a hiker. We have been to the Westcliffe area a dozen or so times over 15 years and this is one of the best rentals in the valley. 5 stars.
