Welcome to Blue Bottle Trout Camp— Your private riverside Paradise. This home is a fly fisher's dream tucked away in the small town of Howard, Colorado. This isn't just a vacation rental; it's your gateway to some of the most legendary trout waters in the country.
Step out your door and into 1/3 mile of *exclusive* Arkansas River access. Your own private stretch of gold medal waters. No crowds, no competition, just you and the fish.
Not enough? Miles of public fishing waters are literally a short walk away. Head upstream into the dramatic Bighorn Sheep Canyon, or explore downstream on CR 45. The Arkansas River is your playground.
Not a Fisher? No Problem! You're surrounded by jaw-dropping peaks. Whether you're into hiking, biking, rafting, or just soaking in hot springs, you're positioned perfectly for every Arkansas River Valley adventure. This is basecamp for *all* your Colorado dreams.
This home offers:
~Newly remodeled, 1500 square foot home
~3 Bedrooms, 1 King bed, 2 Queen beds

~1 well behaved dog is allowed**
~Owner does have outside monitors in place- Please do not touch/adjust cameras. Failure to respect house rules will result in cancellation at cost to the guest.

** 15% discount available to active military & veterans
**Over occupancy of pets will result in an additional $150 being charged. Please respect the wishes of the owners, who are graciously allowing one pet.
All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.
Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.
All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.
~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.
**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.
Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

We rented this amazing home as our bridesmaids house for a wedding at Howard Creek Farm. The property is exceptional, very well maintained and close to the venue. The girls had a wonderful visit.

We absolutely loved this place. It was clean, quiet, and great for fishing. Only big complaints were that the wifi was awful (no way you could work remotely from here!) and the dishwasher was broken. Otherwise it was excellent and they even left some care items for our two pups

We had a great time here - wish I had brought my fly rod/reel because the river access looks incredible. Highly recommend. about 15-20 mins into Salida.

This is my second stay at Blue Bottle. Home is situated in an excellent location and property layout is one of the better that I have seen for fly fishing. The home itself is comfortable and has everything one may need. The property is excellent for dogs with property boundaries fenced. We all agreed that a hot tub would take this property to the next level.
