Messinia, the southwest finger of the Peloponnese peninsula, features lush, hilly landscapes with expansive sandy beaches and quaint towns by the sea.
It's the perfect destination for sunbathers, beach lovers, and those who enjoy leisurely hikes.

Our vacation home is situated along the coastal route between Kalamata and Koroni, just past the village of Petalidi.
Petalidi village is conveniently close, featuring traditional restaurants along with mini-markets, cafes, bakeries and various shops.
At the same time, it is discreetly nestled behind a small hill, allowing for uninterrupted enjoyment of the surrounding nature.

Organized beaches featuring beach bars with loungers and umbrellas are conveniently located near the house. The Petalidi area also offers sea activities and water sports.
Additionally, pristine, unorganized beaches are plenty and just a short drive away.

The house enjoys an ideal location for short excursions within Messinia, putting you just a half-hour drive from Kalamata’s vibrant city life, the fascinating archaeological site of Ancient Messini, and the picturesque castles of Koroni, Methoni, and Pylos, with the charming traditional villages surrounding them.

Nature lovers will be captivated by Messinia’s treasures, such as Polylimnio, a breathtaking series of 15 cascading lakes with waterfalls and hidden natural swimming pools set amidst lush greenery. The mythical Neda River adds another layer of enchantment, with shaded canyons, sparkling waterfalls, and rare natural beauty.
For seaside charm, the exotic Voidokoilia Beach, steeped in history and linked to the legendary King Nestor, and the Gialova wetlands, a vital stopover for migrating birds, complete the unforgettable experience.

Messinia is endowed with a wealth of tasteful and protected designation of origin (PDO) products, available in every corner to excite the taste buds with authentic flavors.

We had a wonderful holiday and found the house to be the perfect base for exploring the area by car. The house had everything we needed, with beautiful views in a secluded location. Mrs Anna and Mr Kostas were very welcoming, friendly and generous with their home produce. We particularly recommend the fresh figs which are delicious eaten straight off the tree but very good mixed with Greek yoghurt as well. There was lots of information on beaches, excursions and restaurants, which was very helpful. We especially loved the Polylimnio Waterfalls and Ancient Messini. Methoni Castle was also a highlight. The beaches are lovely and the whole area is peaceful and unspoilt. In summary, we heartily recommend this house and destination for those looking to enjoy a true Greek experience. We enjoyed our stay at the Olive Grove very much. From the terrace, surrounded with a beautiful garden with olive trees you have an excellent view on the sea. The parents of Aris were very, very kind and helpfull. The information that Aris has given us was excellent. We have visited castles, villages and ancient sites and at the and of the day we had a drink at our favorite beach (the carribean). We will certainly encourage our family and friends to book the Olive grove

We had a super holiday at the Olive Grove. It is in a very relaxing location with great views and excellent hosts who help to give you the feel of the real Greece. They were very kind and generous. Aris has made a very good folder with ideas of the best visitor attractions in the area which was very useful. There are some amazing castles, plenty of lovely beaches all within an hours drive. Petalidi is also a lovely village with a superb Friday morning market. Thankyou very much, we will be encouraging all our friends and family to book the Olive Grove
