About this apartment rental
The apartment Melanie has 2 bedrooms (air-conditioned), 1 living / dining room with kitchen (with dishwasher) and 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. Radio, TV are available. The apartment is fully furnished for max. 6 persons, ideal occupancy 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 - 3 children. The large terrace with fantastic sea views is equipped with table, chairs and 2 loungers.
Surrounded by an olive grove on a slight hill is our cottage with 2 guest apartments on a large plot with 2 other houses, only 800 meters from the sea and beach. The house was built in 2006 and has German standard. The large terrace invites you to relax and unwind. The view goes to the sea, the Mani and the hilly land behind it. The town center of Chrani is not too far away. Enjoy a 10-minute walk through the olive groves as you go shopping or dining. Chrani stretches along the road and owes its special charm to the direct sea situation and the extensive beaches. Here you will find taverns, cafes and supermarkets. Our offered holiday rentals are quiet, but close to the village. The many beaches are the ideal place to just relax and unwind.
Attractions / Tours: Visit Kalamata, now one of the richest and most beautiful cities in Greece. Experience the gypsy market (always on Thursdays) - as early as possible in the morning, so that you can enjoy it especially in midsummer. Fruit and vegetable markets where farmers offer their harvest are a must. Walk on historical ground: Olympia, Sparta, Epidaurus, Mycenae. Visit Nafplio and the picturesque castle triangle with the romantic towns of Koroni, Finikounda and Pylos. Or let yourself be enchanted on the Mani, visit Kardamili or Stoupa with the beautiful beaches or take a boat through the stalactites of the Pyrgos Dirou.
Worth knowing: Rest and tranquility can be found in the climatically mildest corner of the Greek mainland. Mountains and sea are closely connected here. You can expect a year-round green vegetation. The distance to the beach is only 800 m. In Chrani there are shops, cafes and local taverns. Nearby you will find beautiful bays and beaches. Or do you want to explore the area by horse? A small horse farm is just minutes away. Are you a sports fan? Then you can explore the hinterland by mountain bike or hike. Two mountain bikes are available for a fee.
Underfloor heating also allows the stay for winter guests:
Arrival: By car / ferry or flight / rental car / bus to / from Athens. Also, the Araxos airport and especially Kalamata (only 35 km away) is a great option. We will gladly organize a taxi to take you to your holiday home. By ferry from Venice, Trieste or Ancona you reach Patras in about 19 - 30 hours, 3 hours later you are in Chrani. It's faster by plane. In 3 hours you are in Kalamata or Athens, from there by rental car 1/2 hour from Kalamtata or 4 hours from Athens through a wonderful landscape to Chrani. Or you take the intercity bus from Athens. It will take you comfortably and very cheaply (€ 17.50 per person) to Kalamata in 4 to 5 hours. From there it is by taxi or rental car about 25 km to Chrani.

Maison très confortable et au calme. Idéale pour se reposer. À notre arrivée, la maison était très propre. Elle est très bien équipée et spacieuse (nous étions 2 adultes et 3 enfants).
Seul petit bémol: ni réseau, ni wifi dans la maison.... mais cela permet de réussir à se déconnecter !

Das Apartment ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand und top ausgestattet (speziell auch die Küche). Am Strand von Chrani gibt es entspannte Beachbars mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen und in der Umgebung weitere schöne Strände. Mit dem Auto fährt man keine 5 min von der Küstenstraße bis zum Haus (auf einer kleinen Anhöhe). Dort angekommen, genießt man bestens die Ruhe und Rückgezogenheit auf der traumhaften Terrasse. Die Kommunikation mit Fam. Krüger war sehr angenehm und hilfreich. Alles in allem haben wir (Fam. mit drei Kinder zw. 3-7 Jahren) zwei wundervolle Ferienwochen im Haus verbracht.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Wohnung Melanie sehr genossen. Sie ist optimal ausgestattet und bietet viel Komfort. Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist prima und die Lage ebenfalls super für jeden, der es ruhig mag. Ein herrlicher Blick auf das Meer und auf die Olivenwälder runden diese idyllische Lage ab. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Strände und Orte, die es lohnt zu besuchen, z.B. Aghia Triada und Koroni. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
