About this house rental
4-room house, large flower garden of 500m2, 2 terraces ... and free WiFi. Very quiet house, set back from roads and houses ...
Location: near Chaussée Jacobsen, 900 m from the beach (Sableaux beach and Bois de la Chaize); 10 minutes from the city center by bike, all shops and restaurants, port and Noirmoutier castle (via path, cycle path 2 steps); markets 3 times / week, local crafts and quality products (marsh salt, potatoes, etc.).

A living room with beautiful fireplace, beams, very bright and sitting area with a terrace (due East), fitted and equipped kitchen, a bedroom with 1 140 cm bed, a bedroom with 2 90 cm beds, 1 bathroom water, 2 separate toilets, a veranda along the 2nd terrace (facing south), overlooking a large garden with beautiful views of the marshes, the castle and the sunsets.
Garage to store 3 to 4 bikes only, including washing machine, freezer + sink.

Really excellent location, right by the cycle path that takes you - in less than 10 minutes by bike - to the town centre, or to the wonderful beaches of Bois de la Chaise. The large west-facing garden with its paved terrace has uninterrupted views of the salt marshes, and glorious sunsets silhouetting the chateau.
This is a traditional French rental house, well-equipped but unflashy, with everything you need from oyster knife to salad spinner, and while the kitchen and bathroom are a little small, everything works properly. There is also a garage for your bikes, and a glazed sun room offering a warm and bright place to sit in the unlikely(!) event of bad weather.
Communications with the owner were clear and efficient. Free car parking in front of the house.
We’d stay here again, and recommend it.
