AREA
Guests have easy access to several restaurants (there is a small cafe just outside the building), shops, shopping centre and supermarket.
This flat is situated very close to the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic centre of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town. (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...)
Barreirinha Beach is about twenty minutes' walk away, where you can relax and dip into the crystal clear waters of the island.
PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.
The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.
In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.
Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.
Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.
Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.
By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.
OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage, man ist in 2min zu Fuß sowohl am Strand als auch in der Innenstadt von Funchal.
Es gibt tolle Restaurants und Bars (1-5min Fußweg) und Bushaltestellen/Taxistände in der Nähe (3-5min Fußweg).
Bezüglich der Einrichtung war alles vorhanden was man benötigte und wie beschrieben war, besonders in der Küche (Wasserkocher, Toaster, etc.).
Im Waschraum befand sich eine Waschmaschine und es gab sogar Waschmittel zur freien Verfügung.
Das Personal war super freundlich und falls man Fragen hatte, wurden diese innerhalb von ein paar Minuten sofort beantwortet. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte schnell und problemlos.
Die Sauberkeit war super, nur der Boden hätte bei der Zwischenreinigung (nach 6 Tagen) auch kurz gewischt werden können, da uns lediglich ein Besen zur Verfügung stand.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen, da wir im Gesamten sehr zufrieden waren und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis extrem gut ist.

Studio/apt 2A. Overall a very nice but small space, adequate for 2. The bathroom was the disappointment, mildew marks on the floor and wall tiles in the shower, which WEcleaned off easily. No toilet brush!! Good location. Little bit of noise from the couple of café bar and cocktail bar below, but didn't lose any sleep.
