This 2 bedroom apartment, completely renovated in a modern style, offers all the comfort and conditions for a city vacation. The balcony is common to the living room and bedrooms, where you can enjoy a nice breakfast outdoors, contemplate the rhythm of the city, read a book or simply sunbathe, with a fantastic mountain view as a backdrop. The open space kitchen that connects with the living room is fully equipped, so you have everything you need to enjoy your vacation.

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.
The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.
In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.
Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.
Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.
Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.
By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.
OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

We were three adults and stayed at the beginning of February The apartment is in a superb location very close to the marina at the Ronaldo hotel end looking inland to Monte and the park area.It is in easy walking distance to the shops restaurants and other amenities and if you like to watch the cruise ships the port is literally round the corner The apartment was well presented very clean and had everything we needed for our seven day stay It has one en-suite bathroom plus a separate bathroom which saves a lot of time when getting ready to go out The hosting agents An Island Apart were very good with communications before and throughout our stay We like to visit Madeira and will stay here again if available for our dates Highly recommend to anyone needing a good base to explore Funchal

L'appartement correspond exactement aux photos.
Il est idéalement situé, prêt du port, il se situe entre la nouvelle partie et l'ancienne partie de la ville.
Nous avions la vue sur une superbe fontaine éclairée le soir.
En sortant de l'immeuble on se retrouvait directement sur la grande rue de Funchal, ou l'on retrouve plein de restaurants et bars très agréables avec leur terrasse extérieure.
Nous y retournerions sans aucune hésitation.

The apartment is in a good position, central to most things, and lovely view from the balcony.
Easy access to apartment.
Mattresses need replacing as very thin, and not comfortable to sleep on.
Towels thin, could also benefit from replacing.
Kitchen small, no storage apart from in fridge, would not have liked to cook for a family there.
Had to buy tea towel as couldn't find one for drying dishes.

The appartment was perfect for our family. It was close to everything, the ocean, the shops, restaurants... The extra bathroom was very handy for a family of 4. One of my favorite features was definitely the balcony, so beautiful and relaxing. I would recommend this appartment for sure and I would definitely stay there again!
