About this apartment rental
A beach vacation paradise! This is a one bedroom, oceanfront "Sea Cabin" on the first floor. This sea cabin can sleep five with a queen bed in the bedroom, futon sofa in the living room (replaced July of 2025), and a built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25".
Enjoy the private balcony with ocean views, gated community (non heated) pool, beach access, and fishing pier. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with two bars and a full bathroom. There is a laundry facility in the middle of the complex. Located at the beautiful front beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance. The Sea Cabins have the only private pier on the island and you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license.
There is free WI-FI and cable. The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes!
No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or you can use an app on your phone.
There are a few steps to get up to the first floor.
Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide a few travel soaps and shampoos, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, two laundry and dish pods, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.
We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!

The host was very responsive to a minor issue we had (getting parking passes).The condo is clean and well taken care of. The bed is firm and has a plastic cover under the bedsheet which made for a crinkly sound. No trouble sleeping but a slightly softer and quieter bed would be a bonus.Even though on 1st floor, still had a view of the ocean (not the beach) and pier. Easy and short walk to beach. Wi-fi, TV and all amenities worked well. Condo is next to the stairs to the parking lot so people can see the porch and living area easily. Not a big deal at all.

Property was just as described. We loved the convenience of the beach and pool. The only issue I had was the bed. As other guests have shared, it just wasn’t comfortable for me. I ended up sleeping on the pull out futon each night because my back was hurting so bad. However, the bed wasn’t an issue for my wife. I guess I’m just getting old, lol.

The apartment is fine. It’s a small one bedroom, good for my husband and I while visiting our son at college. The glassware was not clean when we arrived so washed it. The mattress sinks in the middle, so not that comfortable, and is covered in plastic under the sheets, so makes noise if anyone moves. Living room couch is not comfortable for lounging or watching tv. It’s a leather futon. Beach access is great. Deck was nice. Complex has a pool that looked nice. It rained most of our stay, so we didn’t use it. TVs were good to watch baseball game.

Location is perfect. The property needs some improvements . The bedding was worn, old and uncomfortable. Our unit said that it slept 5, however the futon was pure torcher. Even the mattress’s on the kids bunks were uncomfortable. I wouldn’t say it would be our last resort, but we will definitely look for something a little more up to date before booking again.
