With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.
Other Things to Note:
Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

We loved our stay - it's a great location - walkable, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The hosts were accommodating, communicative and exceeded our expectations. We used both the indoor and outdoor spaces - if you have a large group, can't recommend this enough!

This is a beautiful house! Each room has so much character and charm! I was so sad to leave. I stayed in this house with my 17 person family ages 6-73. The kids loved hanging out in the third floor room and this house is definitely childproof! The few things that were issues were mainly the fact that this is an OLD house. But, there was one tiny error with the location being that next door was a construction site. But, that was such a tiny error that we barely even cared! Honestly, there was no other place I would have rather woken up to every day of our trip! And also, all the kids (1 boy and 7 girls ages 6-13) shared a small bathroom and the door would not close! So, of course this is an issue! Honestly, imaging five girls huddled around a tiny mirror, doing their makeup, hair, etc. but, I would not have traded it for a thing!

Our executive team had the pleasure of staying at Downtown Oasis for an overnight stay. We highly recommend this property for any group looking for a top-notch experience, whether for business or leisure.
