The Madison Compound offers guests all the aesthetic features of a Charleston Single House from it large Piazzas, private roof top deck and original fireplaces to the modern touches you need to make your Charleston retreat comfortable and convenient.
Enjoy a brand new house opened in 2021 with all new furniture, appliances, and fixtures located just blocks from Upper King Street.
The use of this entire compound space includes the main 4 bedroom house and 2 rear executive private studio suites along with private roof deck and outdoor grilling patio. The kitchen/living room displays a large island to gather around as well as a spacious living room with a 75` TV. There are 6 private bedrooms each with their own private baths displaying large showers with multiple shower heads. A vacation rental the comfortably houses a group is this size is a unique find.
This space is also listed as a single 4-bedroom single house without the rear 2 executive suites which are also listed separately if you are looking to downsize your party.
The communication during your stay will be initiated on the day of check-in via a `check-in group text` with our entire management team so that there will be someone available at all times for any emergencies or questions that arise. This message will maintain check in instruction and will serve as the best point of contact throughout your stay for any of your needs. If you do not have a domestic cell phone don`t worry, we can simply message through the platform app which will be monitored regularly.
The setting is the historic Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood which is considered the `gateway` to the peninsula boasting just the right mix of Neighborhood and City. King, Cannon and Spring Street are dotted with boutiques, vintage stores, and bakeries. Trendy eateries serve up everything from comforting southern fare to the best seafood you can find. Upper King Street is just blocks away and is home to the best nightlife, hip bars, craft beers, and specialty house cocktails.

Clean, fresh, modern remodeling. Bathrooms are amazing !Very comfortable bedrooms.Multiple areas that will comfortably accommodate several people at one time.The top patio deck is wonderful.Check-in and communication was seamless.My entire group gives this the highest rating possible. (This is nicer than many upscale suites I have stayed in while in LasVegas)

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Updated throughout. Bedrooms large, each with its own bathroom. Kitchen large and beautiful. Living room good for gathering and watching TV. Rooftime deck was comfy. Coffee shop on the corner. Charleston Vacays staff were responsive to the few questions that we had. All in all, the house was perfect.

The Madison Compound was a great choice for our group. House was spacious and clean. All bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom. All bathrooms were good size as well. Deck was nice, but didn’t get to use it due to the Charleston heat and humidity... and that it's restricted to use after 9pm. Beds were very comfortable. Couch in Great Room is comfy as well. Would definitely stay again!
