The house is minutes away from downtown Yorkville, Raging Waves Waterpark and right next to beautiful Silver Springs park. There are ton of fun activities and places to explore around! The nearby towns offer great restaurants and events.

Jimmy and Anna were very welcoming and responsive! The property is beautiful. The home is neat, spacious, and comes with everything you could think of. Very quiet and peaceful area. Staying along the Fox River was so much fun- fishing, walks, relaxing outside. We often saw Eagles flying behind the house quite a few deer. One was even walking across the river and the kids loved seeing that!Highly recommend this space, even if you’re a local that just wants a relaxing weekend getaway fishing!

We enjoyed staying here and watching the fireworks on the river. The property was clean and the neighbors were very friendly. My husband and son enjoyed the fishing, just use plenty of bug spray because it’s not just the fish biting around there!

Beautiful scenic view of the river. First time fishing for my son, who absolutely adored it! Thank you for the host for being so generous and letting us borrow his fishing supplies. Neighbors were nice. The state park was fun to visit too. We grilled, made s'mores, relaxed, and had an amazing long weekend. Would highly recommend.

The River House was exactly what we needed for our family, and more! The space was great for our 4, 2, and 1 year old, and the kitchen was super easy to work out of. The hosts put so many thoughtful details into the space and had extremely quick and helpful communication. We will definitely stay here again anytime we are in the area.
