Please pet our goats as much as you like. They love the attention. They're names are as follows:

1. Dill (white with brown spots - the leader)
2. Sprout (largest black one with smaller head of white hair - the lover)
3. Pickle (smaller black one with thick head of white hair - the escape artist)
4. Bean (brown - the outcast)

You can pull fresh greens/weeds from around the property and they'll eat them from your hand. In the winter you can give them some hay from the coachhouse (white building next to the main house) or leaves from around the yard.

Also don't forget to say hi to the chickens! Their coop is towards the back of the property near the goat shack. Feel free to bring them some of food scraps you may have. Message me if you're interested in collecting eggs.

HOUSE RULES:
Do not enter goat pen or chicken coop. Do not open any gates to where the animals stay. You may pet the goats over the fence. If you open any doors, barn doors or windows, shut them! Seems obvious but you’d be surprised.

Do not enter elevator or tool/storage areas (signage posted)

Dogs are allowed. NO CATS. Please manage your dogs. Do not allow them on the furniture and if your dog sheds a lot please try to clean up the fur before you leave. No dogs in any of the bedrooms

Do not eat food in the bedrooms. IE no food upstairs. There is no exceptions. If it is found that you brought food upstairs you will be fined $100 or more. No pets should stay in the bedrooms and especially not in the beds. People have allergies, be compassionate to future guests needs.

Please report any damage to the property to owner so we can work together to fix. If damaged or stolen property is discovered, this will be reported and fines will be assessed.

Do not move or rearrange any furniture. If it is found rearranged and time is spent to move back to its original position then additional fees will apply.

If you move any bedding/pillows put those things back in the room you found them. It is not the cleaners responsibility to reorganize the house.

Do not add tape to the walls. If you want to make a “scene” for your event or wedding be smart about it. Tape on the walls can and likely will cause damage to the paint. This can be costly and you will be charged for the damage.

Take your shoes off. Especially on carpeted areas. If you spill or stain the carpet please clean it. If it is determined that you or one of your party is the cause of a stain you will be charged for carpet cleaning. This includes your dogs.

Clean the fridge out. We do not want your leftovers.

No parties are allowed. If you wish to bring guests in addition to the ones you have been approved for, you'll need to contact the owner to renegotiate. If it is found that you have brought additional guests you will be charged according to the fee structure outlined in the listing descriptions (3, 4 & 5 night minimums depending on guest count)

Overall a great stay! It's a very cute property! We stayed with some of our bridesmaids and groomsmen for our wedding weekend. The goats were very friendly, house was clean and comfortable, and host was responsive. We were confused and thought the whole backyard was the goat pen, because those sneaky goats got out of their pen and were wandering in the bigger fenced area eating the flowers! The host responded promptly to let us know it was the backyard and we could enjoy the space. They said they would come to check on the goats later that day, but they ended up not needing to because the goats had their fill and walked themselves back into their pen! Only had a couple downsides--a closet door fell off, and we were glad we didn't have a full 14 guests because it would've been hard to fit 14 adults. The couch listed in the main bedroom could really only be a sleeping space for a toddler.

We had 3 generations at the farm for a wedding for one of the youngest generation. The house was a wonderful place to stay & a great place for the wedding party to prepare. The bridesmaids loved enjoying the gardens, goats and chickens in their downtime. The photographer found numerous opportunities for stunning pictures of the bride, bridesmaids and family. it was an amazing place to prepare for the wedding. Thank you so much!!!
