Welcome to 208 W Ashley! This newly listed cottage features 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, brand new stainless steel appliances and an unbeatable location with beach access across the street. There are two public beach accesses; one is just steps away across the street, and the other one at the end of the block with conveniences of public restrooms and outdoor showers. The cottage is a short, 2-block walk to Folly Beach's popular Center Street, filled with great options for dining, shopping, and nightlife. This home offers an open concept living room, with the main bedroom on one side of the house, and the rest of two bedrooms on the other.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date.
Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles, plus long driveway is suitable for a boat or a trailer.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Pets considered. All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 plus tax per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (1 pet max, no more than 40 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 6 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

Everything was great. The property is small, but perfect for what we needed it for. The house has beach chairs and boogie boards to use that the kids loved. I’m an overpacker and brought so many of the things that were supplied by the company (dishwasher tabs, laundry tabs, etc). We had a minor issue while there, and they promptly sent someone out to address. Would definitely recommend! I’ve been to Folly many times and this location cannot be beat. So close to Center Street and pretty much everything you’ll want to do while here.

We loved the location of the home, and everything overall worked fine during our stay. However, we were disappointed with the general cleanliness and upkeep. The shower had hair in it when we arrived, the kitchen and rugs seemed dirty, and the bedroom floors didn’t appear to have been cleaned. There was also a small stain on the sheet in the master bedroom.Since the bathroom fan/vent didn’t seem to work, we opened the window to let steam out and found spiderwebs, dead insects, and a significant amount of dust in the window frame. In the kitchen, when a guest went to grab a coffee cup from the cabinet, the cup felt like it was stuck to the shelf. Additionally, when stepping on the rug in the kitchen, the wood felt soft or like it was breaking in certain spots.The shower itself worked, but it was very stiff and difficult to turn on.The location and functionality of the home were positives, but the cleanliness issues and some maintenance concerns impacted our experience. With more attention to cleaning and upkeep, this could be a great rental.
