A little about the area:
Situated in the depths of the Lunigiana countryside, on the northern Tip of Tuscany , yet within walking distance of a bar, restaurant and shop.
The closest train station is less than 1.5km away, aiding easy exploration of Lucca, the market town of Castelnuovo, Pisa and Florence (with a change at Lucca). It is also possible to take the train to the Cinque Terre which is a big bonus! The market town of Aulla is 20 mins by car, beautiful Fivizzano under 20 mins and under1 hour to the beaches.
This villa gives a unique opportunity to explore the totally unspoilt and gentler area at the tip of Tuscany, (Lunignana) but since it is only 20 minutes from the motorway, then the usual sights are in fact easier to visit than from many properties further south.
Ideal also for cheaper flights from Genoa/Parma although the property is equidistant from Genoa and Pisa airports.
The climate is mild, with olive trees and vines, making for relaxing drives. Spend your days sightseeing, hiking straight from the door, or relaxing at that amazing pool.
