About this cottage rental
House in the countryside without vis-à-vis with a large private and fenced swimming pool. This old stone and wood barn has been completely renovated to take advantage of modern comfort while retaining its soul of yesteryear. Thanks to the thick walls, the house keeps a good coolness on hot summer days.
The garden is delimited by hedges and flowering bushes that guarantee you a certain privacy. Surrounded by greenery, you will enjoy magnificent sunsets from the terrace, while enjoying a good barbecue with family or friends. The region is warm and you will quickly forget the traffic jams and parking worries. Beautiful walks between vineyards and plum trees are available to you or simply lazy days by the pool. The environment is rural and hilly and it is good to live there according to the seasons. The rural life allows you to enjoy nature and animals, while being close to all amenities. A bakery, a garage and a doctor are in the center of the village and many shops and restaurants 10 minutes away by car.

Located in Lot et Garonne, and touching the Dordogne and Gironde, there are many opportunities to visit.
You will discover many bastides that are very lively in summer with:
- gourmet markets: Duras, Eymet, Monségur, Ste Foy la Grande, Bergerac, etc.
- castles: Duras, Bonaguil, Monbazillac
- vineyards and wine cellars: Duras, St Emilion, Bordeaux, Pomerol, etc.
- scenic spots
- good tables d'hôtes and restaurants

Great host and great property.Lovely pool. Would only advise on air con as the house was a bit warm with the fans but there was a heat wave with temperatures above 40 so it’s understandable being extremely hot.Also could do with some general cleaning in the kitchen utensils as cutlery and plates, other than that was an excellent stay and would definitely come back and recommend.

We returned this year as we had such a wonderful time last year. It's a place of tranquility and privacy near to local attractions and we (kids especially) love the pool. Claude is a great host, attentive and kind.

Stayed earlier this year and the hosts were just as good as the first time. They emailed us on the day to say the rental was ready or us, this was ahead of the scheduled time so it was a bonus.
Its a great place to stay for exploring the area. Welcome pack in the fridge (wine and beer).

Stayed for a week in August. The property was wonderful and had everything we needed, even the little things thought of. The pool was an absolute highlight and the young children would have been happy all day there. The property feels very private and is not overlooked so we felt comfortable at all times. Our host Claude was lovely, there to offer help but gave us our privacy. She even dropped some fresh fruit from the trees for us during the week. This was a fabulous stay, and located close to many attractions for the kids and adults alike. A fabulous holiday
