Delightful property consisting of a 4 bedroom house and separate cottage for 2.

Rustic and rural property near Dordogne.Lovely property in quite rural location. Gorgeous pool area, one of the nicest we’ve ever had! Huge gardens, with lake at bottom and lots of gardens shared with owners to use with badminton net, trampoline etc. Ideal for children to run about. Kids enjoyed the pool, gym, and table tennis and looking out for the cats and duck and her ducklings! Very friendly and helpful owners, Jill and John who live on site in the house next door. Lots of local activities, we went kayaking on the Dordogne. Caught the train to Bordeaux for the day. Visited Émet and some of the other local villages. Such a pretty part of France. Lots of wildlife to see too! We saw lots of birds, bats and a barn owl!

Jill and John were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Great garden, swimming pool, even lovely fruit trees. Nearby villages and the little towns are charming, with great local markets. A wonderful bakery and a well stocked supermarket are just fifteen minutes away by car. A very enjoyable holiday. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic family holiday. Lovely spacious bedrooms. 3 bathrooms with shower, all excellent. Good cooking and food storage facilities. Beautiful pool area. Fishing lake. Lots of wildlife. John and Jill are marvellous, relaxed and friendly hosts and have all the local knowledge you will need. 1st class all round and highly recommended.

Jill and John are brilliant hosts, along with their daughter Verity. The house and gite are beautiful and the swimming pool was brilliant. The grounds around the house are absolutely outstanding. Loubes Bernac is a lovely place and we, as a family of 10 will definitely be back.
