The house is in a great location! However, the owner has not maintained it well. There were simple things unaddressed such as 2 of 3 toilet seats broken, blinds broken in the room that sits on the street, grass too talk for kids to play in. and more complicated/expensive things like ice machine broken, ripped patio furniture, bedroom that must have had cat pee from a prior renter, and the dirtiest carpet I've ever seen in a rental. While the owner said thanks for noting the concerns there was no price adjustment or accommodations made to improve our stay.

This property could use some TLC. It needs a deep clean, especially on exterior and fenced yard/patio, and that carpet upstairs has got to go. Kitchen utensils are second hand at best and not conducive to prepping and cooking. Bed linens were old, and not what is pictured. Towels are embarrassing and need retired immediately, not to mention scarce. Location and space were good. Didn't expect to have to share property with others, could hear conversations of basement renters clearly and they weren't being loud. Our dog was uneasy there which is not typical for her when staying away from home and at a rental property. Perhaps we were just spoiled having come from an excellent stay at different property, but anyone can see and feel this place is neglected.

This was a great place to stay while visiting family in the area. There was plenty of space to accommodate 2 families. The house was very clean, had good space for hanging out, and had a great kitchen. It was also close to great restaurants and the downtown area, including a great jogging trail.

Great little place in a cute neighborhood. A few things to know. Heat wouldn’t work and fireplace was out of service. There were no extra blankets and we had one sheet and a thin blanket. Bitterly froze all night. Thermostats said heat had been trying to recall however the temp had dropped 3 degrees in the last 2 hrs. It was 64 in the house this morning when we woke up. Also not enough towels for 9 of us. Let alone they weren’t much bigger than a hand towel. Ice machine in the fridge was froze up. Has so much potential just needs some more fine touch..

Sheets had crusty dried-up boogers (twin beds) and dried up blood stains on the fitted sheet. Carpets were heavily stained. Chips of paint on stairs and furniture. Grill had not been used or clean in a very long time. Blinds in the bedroom on the main floor with ripped and torn and duct taped to the French doors. Owner would not communicate with us until we were within 24 hours of check in. When we had arrived, we sent pictures of the filth. Everything was denied. We asked about the missing shower curtain and were told if we go out and purchase one, we will be reimbursed. From the pictures online, it looks like this property was beautiful at one point but has not been maintained over time. This is our first VRBO bad experience. Sad that these property owners are allowed to continue to scam people.

PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE RENTING. We made a mistake in renting this property, but I learned a lesson about future rentals. The listing is in no way complete and leaves out pretty important details. The biggest issue we had was that there is NO Air Conditioning, however the listing doesn't "exactly" tell you that. The amenities section completely leaves out any type of climate control: A/C, Heat, or otherwise. Since there is absolutely nothing listed in the amenities, the owner can say "per our listing this property does not have central A/C" and VRBO c

Group of 10 friends stayed overnight to avoid a long drive the morning of the Tough Mudder. We had a slight hiccup when checking in as renters of one of the other units had been confused which unit was theirs. Upon learning the other renters had been in our unit, the property mgmt team quickly dispatched the cleaning crew to re-clean the property to ensure it was spotless for our stay. The close proximity to restaurants, shopping and of course the Tough Mudder venue makes this an ideal location. Will definitely be reserving for next year’s race.

It was a nice place, but what you don't know is that the place is part of another home with a pretty early time to be quiet(8pm). We weren't able to get answers to things that were important. Which i had made a point of before arriving. One very Crucial thing was wifi connectivity. We all were not able to use wifi by the second day there and my brother and I needed it for work. My wife needed it for her planning that she ended up having to use my phone for. I ended up not doing work a whole day which will probably set me back pretty negatively. When i asked about these I was pretty much met wth the standard get closer to the router,even though we were in the location closest to the router. (We had no access to the router). It was in a home connected to the house we werent allowed into. Also didnt know people were staying in the basement of the home, so that was a surprise and very inconvenient again. We weren't able to access the Thermostat without a code that wasnt provied until the day after i asked for assistance. Which left my sister in law having to stay up and deal with my nephew being awake due it being so hot the first night. It was just sadly very inconvenient and ppossiby couldve been avoided. The place was nice and we all had a room to ourselves. But, only one tv to access and again were not able to watch anything the last night here because of no internet connection so we kinda just got ready to pack and head out the next day. We also only had one key to the house

It was clean. Beds were comfy although one of the queen beds was in that would normally be a study. The dining table only had two dining chairs. The living room furnishings were showing signs of wear but comfortable enough. Upstairs was nice although the stairs are a bit on the steep side. The lights over the sink in the on suite master bathroom were out. There was an overhead light so it was okay. There were 5 of us and two dogs. There was a nice side yard fenced for the dogs but it is shared with other guests. For us this was not a problem. Check-in info was not provided until the first day of the rental. It would have been better to get it a day or two early. The location was very quiet and quite nice. As the title says, it was okay.

Entrance siding on the house needs cleaning thermostat is not changeable. House seemed cold most of the visit. instructions would be nice to have in a booklet for renters.along with things to do in the area. Online instructions said to not bring liquids upstairs because of potential staining of carpet. The upstairs carpet was really full of stains, and the carpet under the sofa etc downstairs also needs cleaning.Not up to the standards we come to expect from VRBO places we've rented previously..

Location was great. Owner did get back to me but delayed, and didn't fully read what I was asking for/about. Firepit has to be lifted out of the brick enclosure if you want to be able to open the door and read the instructions on how to use. Bathroom lights in master never worked, decent amount of stains throughout house. No extra trash bags for help with garbage, minimal cups and only 2 dining room chairs which doesn't make sense to me. Appreciated the laundry facilities. It was ok for our needs, but can't see renting here again.

Dustin was accessible and prompt regarding reservations and check-in. The property itself is on a corner, in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Parking was easy, and the property was easy to get to. House was very clean, and towels, washcloths, etc. were laid out on each bed. Huge kitchen with modern appliances. It is worth noting that there is not a downstairs shower or tub, so elderly or mobility challenged may have difficulty getting upstairs for a bath. It is also worth noting that if you chose to visit in July or August, there is not central air-conditioning; although Dustin did have semi-portable room air conditioners accessible. It was a great stay, great property, and recommended highly.

I + a few other young female colleagues stayed here on a work retreat. We didn't feel safe after realizing the basement "unit" was also occupied by renters, and the door couldn't be locked from our side of the house. Very creepy, not peaceful. Nobody slept well. Wish we knew this important detail before renting!

I can not recommend this property. It was unsafe for children. There are uncovered electrical outlets, holes in the sheet rock in the kids room, ceiling was coming down. This property is actually a shared house. Since the kitchen door has vented panels you can see into the other apartment. Meaning they can see into your space. All showers are upstairs so not accessible if you are injured. The outside space is shared between the property the basement apartment and the apartment above the detached garage. Fans were necessary to keep the house cool enough. Mold lots of mold in the bathroom upstairs around the window. The blinds in the what is considered the bedroom do not go all they way down. So passerby’s can see into the room. There is a fireplace between the living room and downstairs sleeping area that is definitely see thru. There are taped blind material to the doors going into the downstairs sleeping area. Taped with black electrical tape. I want to say very strongly that this was the most uncomfortable unsecured place. The adults in our party did not sleep based on how unsafe we felt.

We had a last minute trip to Colorado, I would like to say Colorado Springs is my absolute favorite area in Eastern CO. I would say this property is all location, location, location. Perfectly located near downtown, Garden of the Gods & mountain activities, We walked to coffee both mornings and to dinner one night. I would absolutely stay here again just for the location. The property could use some updates, but if you are looking for a place to sleep after you spend your days outdoors then this is the place.

It was clean but not thoroughly. We were asked to wash, dry & put dishes all away. (My past experience has been you load dishwasher & start.) Beds were comfy; dining table was rickety as were at least one of the 3 dining chairs. Upstairs was nice; bathrooms especially. We were surprised that there were only 3 dining chairs although there’s room for more & house is large enough for bigger parties; there were 6 of us. With a little attention this could be a nice place to stay.
