About this house rental
Rustic old country house with character. The house is 170 sqm on two levels and can accommodate 8 guests. Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms and a separate bathroom. In the small master bedroom there is a double bed as well as a balcony. The larger bedroom is furnished with one double and two singel beds. The small bedroom has a bunkbed.
The downstairs consists of a large kitchen with fireplace where you can cook wonderful Italian food and socialize with access to the large terrace with the magnificent view. Living room with two sofas and a pellet stove that warm during spring and autumn months and TV. One bedroom with a bathroom attached. In the hallway there is a toilet with washing machine.
The garden is 2500 sqm and filled with lemons, mandarins, figs, sharon fruits, walnuts, cherry trees and olive trees. It is usually cut and plowed twice a year. There is no lawn. There is a large terrace in front of the entrance to the kitchen with magnificent views as well as a small terrace on the upper part of the house. There are two outdoor showers.

Basilicata is still a tourist undisturbed, warm well into the fall because it is so far south. Fantastic nature experiences with lots to experience. For example, the mountain village of Matera Sassi, which is on the World Heritage list. The Ionian Sea with its many star edges is 18 km away.

What a delightful gem! The views from the terrace were lovely. The interior of the home was stylish and cozy. It was clean, plenty of cookware and dishes. All appliances worked.
Helpful hint: Follow the pin that is sent by the hosts. We didn’t do that at first and had to backtrack a bit.

The property is lovely. The kitchen is well equipped. It is roomy and comfortable. There were issues with the power in the region, but the owner kept in touch throughout.

I can really recommend this wonderful and quiet house in Pisticci. With a big and spacy terrace overlooking the beautiful valley. Miles and miles in sight.
Overall a wonderful vacation and i can really recommend it...
