Kirk Wynd Cottage is a delightful retreat in the heart of Kirriemuir, a historic town nestled at the foot of the scenic Angus Glens. Behind its classic red sandstone facade, the cottage offers a warm, comfortable stay with two inviting bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and a spacious yet cosy lounge with a wood burning stove and sofa bed.
The cottage is tastefully decorated with a bright, welcoming feel. The ground floor snug includes a log burner, sofa bed and Smart TV, along with library shelves of books, games and toys. The kitchen and dining area is well equipped with a Rangemaster cooker and a large farmhouse dining table.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with its own en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom with a bathtub.

I loved this cottage, I loved the cozy fire place in the living room. The kitchen was spotless with a big kitchen table in the middle, the only thing I would suggest is to have the fridge as a fridge/freezer. I missed having a freezer for ice and ice-creams. The bedrooms where quiet and dark, however a mattress topper would make the mattress cozy and comfortable. Parking is not right outside the property, it's in a safe location which is detailed when you confirm your booking. However, you do have to carry all your belongings across the road and down the lane to the cottage.
