River Rapids Hideaway is located in Wimberley, along the banks of the beautiful Blanco River. Enjoy fun filled days along the river and evenings gathered around the fire pit toasting marshmallows at this tiny hideaway.
Arrive at an adorable robin's egg blue house that overlooks the Blanco River. Inside, find a delightful tiny house that offers all the conveniences of home. Sleep soundly in a private bedroom with a plush queen-sized bed with fun pops of color. The loft offers the perfect escape for the kids with a queen and twin bed. Kids will have found their secret escape in this space with the low ceilinged loft that is just their size! Preparing meals is no chore in this tiny river house! With a well equipped kitchenette to include a convection microwave oven, full refrigerator, stove, and all of the necessary conveniences to whip up a delicious meal. Choose to dine at the table for four located off the kitchen or the covered deck area on the front porch overlooking river views under the towering oak trees.
Guests will find the living space is not only comfortable but offers a cozy sofa, flat-screen HD television perfect for watching a favorite movie or playing games. Freshen up in the roomy bathroom that offers a standup tiled shower as well as a vanity. *Bonus: Guests have access to the stackable washer and dryer perfect for washing towels after a day at the river.

River Rapids Hideaway offers endless outdoor adventures with its own private river access at your doorstep. Spend days swimming, tubing, rafting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, or relaxing alongside the river bank. For those who enjoy nature there is plenty of beautiful hill country to explore. Enjoy a favorite book relaxing on the outdoor porch with beautiful river views. Grill up favorites on the propane grill. For an evening of fun, gather around the fire pit and enjoy s’mores, a favorite beverage, and stories of who had the biggest catch of the day.

With Wimberley only a few minutes away, visit the delicious restaurants as well as the charming shops in the downtown square. Enjoy, swimming or hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, rappelling at Zipline Adventures, a day of water fun at Blue Hole Regional Park. Looking for a day trip? Take a drive to Canyon Lake, rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the lake. Overlook Park offers fabulous views of Canyon Lake as well as Canyon Lake Dam. Only a short distance away visit Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant.
