About this cottage rental
In the Municipality of Tuineje, in the center of the island, in the heart of the old town, is the Casa Rural Tamasite.
An old house 200 years old, which consists of 4 houses integrated into a farm of about 1,000 m2. With stunning views of the Tamasite mountain.
The AMANAY country house is on the 2nd floor, which was built at the end of 1800.
You can see the spilled roofs of Tarajal completely preserved.
In the large courtyards, you can see farm implements, and in the garden a native broom from Fuerteventura, which is protected by the Cabildo as an autochthonous flora.
Of the house, it emphasizes the decoration of ceramics and antiquities of all type, as well as the furniture, old furniture of more than 100 years totally recovered.

We spent a weekend in Casa Tamasite. It was a fantastic experience with beautiful surroundings, an excellent host and very interesting activities. Pepe - and his family who runs the hotel - is an incredible and warm host that makes everybody feel “at home” and at easy. We participate in a wine testing course with malvasias from Lanzarote and wines produced in Casa Tamasite own wineyard “Bodegas Gayria”. The house´s white wine is incredible, with a soft apple taste. We also had the chance to try the excellent olive oil produced in house. Overall it was a very relaxing and a great experience.
