I wouldn’t have reviewed at all since it was double booked and we ended up not staying there because the other couple was already there. However, we had to track down our full refund after the fact because she didn’t cancel the VRBO booking on her end. Furthermore, I’ve found it difficult to get ahold of her at times. She has been nice and responsive when I’m able to get ahold of her otherwise.

We loved staying at this property. We had an excellent time! They even have a little children's book area and my daughter and I loved some of the books. The one draw back was the lack of hallway access to the bathroom. We had my Mother with us and because the 1 bathroom is in the Master bedroom (and it is small) it made for a little awkwardness for late night bathroom visits, but it was ok overall having the bathroom in the Mater bedroom. We would stay again and hope to book again soon. Thoroughly enjoyed it and our visits to the dog beach a little ways up the road. Great location and it was perfect for our beach trip.

Our family had a great time and the house was actually larger than we anticipated. We very much enjoyed sitting on the front deck. Only down side was the one bathroom for 5 adults and it being in the master bedroom but we made it work. We had 2 very large long bed trucks and they both fit in the driveway which was nice as well. House was clean (besides the rug in the living room may need to be replaced or a deep clean) and kitchen worked out great as we do enjoy cooking and having family meals. Would be back again if we are ever in Morro bay.

Great place in Morro Bay! Listing accurate. Nice for my family with our kids and dog. Comfy bed, stocked kitchen, nice backyard, and we enjoyed the board games. The bathroom in one of the rooms is a little awkward. The host never responded to messages but we had no issues with the stay.

Property was very welcoming and relaxing. Spotlessly clean, bright and spacious.Private off street parking space. Beautiful enclosed deck out the front with amazing views and garden at the rear of property. Perfect for our four legged friends. As previous guests have stated. Access to bathroom is through the main bedroom. If you plan accordingly, it did not cause any issues with our party. Decor very upscale. Loved the books and games available. Kitchen was incredible. Fully stocked. There was not any coffee. Not an issue for us. But if you are someone who likes a cup as soon as you rise, bring some with you. There are a couple of grocery stores nearby. Spencers 0.5 miles. Albertsons 1.8 miles. A pleasant walk in to downtown Morro Bay takes about 30 minutes. Met a couple of the neighbours who were very friendly. Looking forward to returning. Overall wonderful property.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great location for being near the park and beach. We also picked this spot so we could go to Hearst Castle (30 min away). Everything was well appointed and it was a great backyard for our dogs. Lots of books for our 6 year old to enjoy.

The house was as advertised. The bedrooms are a little quirky but the queen beds are very comfortable. As advertised you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom but that wasn't really a problem. The twin bed was not super comfortable according to my daughter but all the rooms were large enough. The best part is the main living room and kitchen spaces. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Nice stove/oven for cooking. The location is nice quiet neighborhood. Quick to drive to main part of town. One of our favorite areas. Backyard area was nice for our golden retriever. The owners were quick to respond to questions. My only complaint is that they could have stocked paper supplies appropriate for the length (6 days with 4 people) of our stay. Ran out of toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and trash bags. There was nice selection of books, games, and puzzles and great internet speed. Nice having the washer and dryer. Was really comfortable and great way to spend Christmas. I think we will be back.

Pros: Location was more convenient than I expected and super quiet. Appreciated the kitchen being stocked with all needed dishes and cookware. Washer and dryer was a plus. Cons: The rug in the living room and the bedroom carpet should be replaced. They definitely make the house not look clean. And please leave some basic instructions for the keypad. It's not as intuitive as the Schlage keypad.

We have stayed in a few VRBO's in the Morro Bay/Cambria area, and this is the best one. Spacious living and dining room with one large bedroom. We had room for two dog beds in both the living room and the back bedroom. Easy/quick access to the backyard from the back bedroom. The dog loved short sprints on the grass every morning. Beds were comfortable, neighborhood is quiet and close to the grocery store, downtown Morro Bay, and the beach. Nice deck in front if the weather cooperates.

Issues with electronic door lock, window hard to open in queen bedroom, housekeeping provided no bath soap, some wash cloths and towels were stained, water pressure was low (1951 home with galvanized feed pipe needs replacement).

We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to come again for a longer time period! The house was spacious, the front deck had an excellent view, and we loved the peacefulness of the back yard. It is in a great location for quickly getting to downtown Morro Bay and Cayucos. The neighborhood is also quiet.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was comfortable for all of us, especially kitchen and dining room. We had a baby and a 9 year old( who loved the toys). The dog also loved it and appreciated the grassy yard.

Very much enjoyed our stay at this house for our annual getaway! Kitchen with everything we needed for eating in, roomy and comfortable living room. And the deck- wonderful to sit outside and see the ocean! Bedrooms a bit small and with only one bathroom we were slightly inconvenienced but we managed alright. Nice quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Loved our stay!

Carpet in primary bedroom was old and stained; cobwebs in corners upon arrival and kitchen is unorganized with nowhere to put your own food. Living area is great with views of Morro Rock and a distance view of ocean.

Our family congregated for our daughters graduation. We had 2 beautiful sunsets! Plenty of room to hang out and have a family dinner. Felt like our small dog was safe to roam the backyard. I wish you didn’t have to walk through a bedroom to get to the bathroom, but we made it work. Thank you.

This is the second time staying in this house. It's been a great place to stay in Morro Bay that is dog friendly and has a backyard for the dogs to play in. Convenient location near the dog beach off of HWY 1, and a short drive to everything else Morro Bay has to offer. The only negative is the only bathroom is inside one of the bedrooms. Our group wasn't large enough to make this a problem, but larger groups might find it inconvenient to use the restroom while the bedroom is occupied. Overall great house to stay in and Heather is awesome!
