About this house rental

This is more than just a cozy home at the coast; it is a place full of memories that will last the family a lifetime. This is our family home, with all of us having memories of coming to Morro Bay to visit this house for over fifty years. The original owner passed the property down to their children and is now owned by children and grandchildren of the ones who built this home. We love the memories that reside in this house, and would love to have you as a guest of the family at our home away from home!

Our home has a nice view of Morro Rock from the kitchen, living room, and balcony that runs along the front of the house. Find a comfortable place to enjoy your morning coffee and the fresh coastal air. Beach access is less than a mile away!

Our home has newer furniture, decorations, and amenities to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for our guests. Kick back and enjoy your vacation at the coast!

Me and 3 of my children and 2 son in laws plus 1 grandchild had a great time. House was wonderful enough room for all, much better than staying in hotels. We visited Hearst Castle, whale watched in Morro Bay, visited SLO, and chilled at Pismo beach! House is centrally located to many attractions! We will definitely do this again!

If you like big iconic rocks coming through the window of your cozy vacation home, then this place if for you! Very well kept house that reminds you of being back at nana and papa’s house (except this house has cable and internet). Lovely spot to enjoy a weekend away!

I booked the property in Morro Bay to celebrate my granddaughters 21st birthday and my 70th birthday. We love the beach and vacation every year at one of the Morro hotels. To accommodate all of us and to save money I looked for a home instead of a hotel. This property was built in the 60’s and has a homey feel to it. I loved the kitchen/living room area and the closeness to the beach and restaurants. We were able to enjoy breakfast in a casual setting, see the Rock from the windows and the youngsters enjoyed playing board games in the living room. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood and we felt safe. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the convenience of the laundry room was great. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset was amazing. Everyone agrees that it was the best beach trip ever.

We enjoyed our stay at this perfect location just blocks away from our daughter’s house. We’ve been celebrating Independence Day on the central coast since I was a child, now on our 4th generation of tradition! The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, great TV choices and Olan was delightful, attentive and quick to respond. We will certainly come again!!

The property was perfect for us. We brought together family traveling from out of state via plane, train, and automobile. The owners were very helpful and allowed us an early check that was helpful as everyone arrived . The house felt home like and was very clean. The deck offered a view of the ocean and the street was very quiet. Thank you to the owners for making us welcome for making these accommodations available to us.

Clean and comfy for sure! A little dated but it gave it character! American flag was missing though. Great view and quiet neighborhood. The bedroom downstairs with 3 beds and a bath is separate from the home. You have to go outside to come in main house. It worked well for us with adult kids staying down there.

This is an amazing place to spend a weekend. The property owners are awesome to work with, very communicative, and very responsive to questions. Checking in and out was simple as well. The property is located about 2 mins from downtown Morro Bay. It's walking distance from a handful of restaurants too should you want to stick close to home. The home itself was plenty big enough for all of us. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, and one downstairs. The downstairs bedroom has its own bathroom, and that's where the laundry room is located as well. There is also a small refrigerator should you want to keep a few drinks down there. The main area upstairs includes a full kitchen, a spacious living room area, a full bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. Everything in the kitchen works perfectly. If you want to BBQ, there is one available as well. All in all, this is a great place to stay, and I look forward to booking again soon!

Place is as pictured. 2 bedrooms have multiple beds, one bedroom has one. All good sized rooms. Front room is set up with couches and chairs to seat 7 comfortable. You can use table chairs or folding chairs provided to seat more. Great view of the rock out the main window. Owners we very nice and responded to all messages with good information. Only gripe is that with covid we did a lot of cooking in the place and there is no dish washer. That being said, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment.

My only complaint would be the check in. I would highly suggest labeling the keys better. At first I didn’t realize the laundry room was downstairs, so I was searching all around for the lockbox to the downstairs bedroom. We then realized that one of the keys hanging up was for the laundry room and the downstairs bedroom was already unlocked. Other than that this place was great. It was very very clean and really has everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils/supplies, bath towels, and extra blankets and pillows. The beds were comfortable and it was big enough for my family (6 adults, 2 kids, and an infant) to hang out together comfortably. The neighborhood is very quiet and it’s not far from the beach and the main shops and restaurants. Overall I would definitely stay here again!
