About this house rental
A cosy, modern, self-contained bungalow tucked away in peaceful countryside. With one double bedroom, a bathroom, and a comfortable lounge with a fold-out futon, it’s the ideal escape for peace and quiet. Situated in rural Preston, close to the coast and River Wyre, the location is perfect for walkers — with Blackpool Illuminations just a short drive away. There’s also easy access to Lancaster and the beautiful Lake District. Given its rural setting, driving is essential, and a private parking space is located right next to the bungalow.

Set in a peaceful rural location, this modern yet cosy self-contained bungalow is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The lounge features a comfortable sofa, large TV, surround sound system, and DVD player — ideal for quiet evenings in. An electric fire and Hive-controlled central heating ensure the space warms up quickly and stays comfortable all year round.
To the rear, you’ll find a small enclosed garden with a table and chairs, offering a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a summer evening with countryside views looking out towards the Lake District.

Guests have access to the entire property and its facilities, including a private parking space (please note: one space only).
The kitchen is well equipped with:
Cooking hobs
Convection oven
Fridge and freezer
Kettle and toaster
Nespresso coffee machine
Basic crockery, cutlery, mugs, and glasses
We’ve recently added a small dining table with two chairs, as well as two fold-out tables for flexible use. A washing machine is available for longer stays.
The newly fitted bathroom includes a full shower, toilet, sink basin, and fresh towels for your stay.

If your looking for peaceful off the beaten track lodgings ,then this is the place for you. My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay here.The bungalow is well equiped with everything you need. The surrounding area is good for bird watchers with hedgerows,open fields and skies. Not too far (15 mins) is Barnaby sands marsh where we enjoyed long walks as far as Knott end and beyond.
Gareth our host was very freindly and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed here for a week during May 2023.
The Bungalow was a great location for us. Peace and quiet when we wanted it and close to Blackpool and other seaside locations when we wanted them.
The Bungalow was clean, safe and perfect for our break. The owner was quick in communication and friendly throughout the booking process and the actual stay.

This is our first time with Vrbos we didn't know what to expect.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. It was just what we needed. It was lovely to have the things we needed present in the bungalow ready for us to use for our stay. Gareth tho host was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He made us most welcome.
My wife and I would definitely recommend the bungalow.
