About this house rental
Our beach cottage offers the best of both worlds: Quiet north-end neighborhood and very close to Seaside's beautiful beach and famous Promenade! You can walk and/or bike anywhere in town from here.
The Cottage has beautiful coastal images throughout. A comfortable over sized sofa (works great to sleep on), over sized love seat, one chair and two rocker/recliners sit in the living room, which also boasts an electric fireplace & large flat-screen TV. Excellent WiFi throughout. The small dining table seats 8, and the kitchen is fully stocked. All beds have comfortable & (new 2023) mattresses, 2" memory foam toppers, linens and extra blankets, plus an additional sleeping area in Family Room with a queen Murphy Bed with 6" Memory foam mattress, a twin leather sofa/ hide-a-bed, and two sleeping pads to comfortably sleep up to 9. Laundry room, games, puzzles, books and movies are available for guest use. The family room has a small leather couch, two comfortable chairs, large flat screen TV/DVD, electric fireplace, ping pong table, magnetic dartboard, and a folding game table with felt cover.
Supplies includes clam guns for those special low tides as well as crabbing gear and an outdoor crab cooker. Our Cottage is three blocks to the easiest spot to crab- the 12th Avenue bridge. Just drop your pots, go back to the house to relax and walk back a few hours later for your dinner! (License is required for both crabbing and clamming.) There is also a Weber outdoor grill and personal outdoor fire pit in the private fully fenced front yard. Firewood supplied! There is even a playhouse for the kids! There are beach chairs, a beach blanket for the sand to keep you comfortable on the beach, and plastic sand toys for kids stored in the shed.
Everyone loves the beach in the sunshine, but on those rainy days, there is no lack of attractions. In addition to amenities/activities at the Cottage, the City of Seaside offers the Aquarium, galleries, arcade games, an outlet mall, a movie theater, a recreation center with two heated indoor pools and a beautiful library with puppet theater for your kids. The Convention Center has various activities throughout the year. Nearby Astoria and Cannon Beach have lots to offer as well.

This was our second year staying at the cottage for the annual Seaside Beach volleyball tournament. The house was clean and well stocked, and even had a welcome basket with some goodies for us to enjoy :) The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and a very short walk to the beach. Kathy was very accommodating and responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay. Highly recommend this booking!

This is a wonderfully appointed and perfectly located stay in Seaside. The check-in was easy and Kathy was great- on top of everything to get us settled. It was easy to see the care and thought that went into this space. Comfortable, great layout for 2 families with children. Excellent outdoor area that we all enjoyed. Easy to pull off a bbq for all, plenty of seating, fire pit a fave with kids for s’mores- and a large, clean hot tub!The kitchen was also super clean, with everything you could need and probably forgot to bring. There was even a bottle of wine, coffee and chocolate for us!!!This place absolutely deserves its 10 rating- the Oregon Coast is a specific vibe and they do it perfectly.
