Oceania Resort Closest Apt to Eagle Beach with King Bed and Jacuzzi

The condo was comfortable and in a good location on Eagle Beach. We were disappointed that the pool and beach access gate closest to the condo were closed for renovations. There was no work being done the week we were there, so it appears that the renovations won’t be completed any time soon. We wish this would have been disclosed.The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. Our suggestions would be to remove the extra linens from the dresser drawers and closets so there is more space for clothes and to purchase some new beach chairs.

Fantastic trip. Best location in the complex. Beach and surrounding area was great. Unit was spacious and has everything you need. We will be back. Elizabeth and the property management company were great!

Kitchen had all we needed to cook throughout our week. Hot tub was clean and hot! Lots of space for our family of 5. TV and wifi worked wonderfully. Conceirge and host were both incredibly responsive. Loved the convenience of walking out the sliding door and around to the pool or across the street to the beach. The closet had sand toys, floats and beach chairs for us to use. Lots of towels were provided. Loved being able to use the washer/dryer. We took our own snorkel masks and loved visiting the local beaches for fabulous snorkeling.

The property and location are great, but the entire stretch of Eagle beach and all of the condos and hotels there is in jeopardy. Aruba has got to get a handle on the clearly worsening sewage smell which was present 3 out of 4 days we were there. Don’t take my word for it- Google the issue. I wish we had done so beforehand. The smell is present at the property, the pool, on the beach and even while on a boat 100 yards from shore- Eagle and Palm beach. I feel terrible for the owners because it is going to continue to impact business for these property owners. Again, the property is great and the service Prestige provided was great, but we could not stay there again because of how bad the smell was. So sad for those that have to live with it. Again, gave the property the stars it deserves but felt we should be honest about the experience in the area. The government needs to properly address the problem.
