About this cottage rental
Fabulous quintessential Oceanfront Beach Villa with LOADS and LOADS of Oceanfront Space for Relaxation, Retreat and Recreation! Wide open spaces - no houses close in on either side of this double cottage Villa.
All on one level you spread out in 3 Bedrooms 2 Baths + Full Kitchen, Dining, and Living Room. Sleeps up to 8 (in 4 beds and a large leather sofa with removable back cushions). Basic rate applies to seven - $45 pp extra guests. DOGs are okay - $150/week/dog.
Owner resides in separate 3B cottage upstairs and has two rooms B&B-stylewith their own private porches - we share a large parking lot, and our Beach House @Tiki own private beach access.
Guests have their own, private Huge wrap-around decks with outdoor seating areas and two outdoor dining tables. Hot outdoor Shower - onsite Parking.
We selectively allow you to bring the family dog(s). Pet fee is for one dog - additional dog fee of $25-35 per night/dog. NOTE: Carolina Beach has APPROVED dogs on the beach all summer long before 9:00AM and after 5:00PM - dogs must be on a leash and be sure to have a trash bag with you at all times to avoid a fine.

WELCOME TO TIKILIFE!!! We will greet you with a handcrafted Welcome Tiki Cocktail (or a Bottle of wine when I’m gone) to welcome you to the TikiLife. Your hosts also provide a Complimentary Basket of Fruit & free Snacks for your pleasure. WiFi & Cable TV, games and a wide selection of DVDs to enjoy, Shower basics, Linens and Bath towels - all included FREE! A laundromat is available just two blocks up.
Oceanfront Neptune Bedroom - has One double and one twin bed, and adjoining full bathroom.
Oceanview Mermaids Bedroom - has One queen bed and adjoining full bathroom.
Oceanview Dolphins Bedroom - has One queen bed and full en-suite private bathroom, as well as private lockout entrance.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Just steps to the Ocean Grill Tiki Bar where you can grab a wonderful lunch, a cold beer or cocktail, or just kick back on your own large, covered wrap-around porch and listen to the live music on Thursday evenings in the summer. Or take a stroll to the famed Carolina Beach Boardwalk - just .8 miles away - a 20 minute leisurely stroll along the white sandy beach.
Our Oceanfront all on one level cottage is about 1400 square feet and has a huge living room dining room and kitchen - all flowing for open family space. (Our upstairs cottage has the upperrwo levels where I host only two guest bedrooms.)
The living room has a large Leather sofa - the back cushions can be removed to double as a quick overnight bed in the living room. Lots of DVDs, books to take away, and family-friendly games included.
We stock your kitchen with spices, condiments, some cereals and starter coffee and tea. From there on - it's your kitchen for cooking.
Dine outside on your private Oceanfront Porches and decks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, sparkling just in front of you. A large kitchen table is provided in the kitchen area, as well as a separate games or work table. There is also a large private outdoor grill for use in our parking area. There are two four person table for al fresco dining or card games on your wraparound Oceanfront porches as well :-)
Later, sip on your cocktails (we welcome you on first day arrival with a specially hand-crafted Tiki Signature Cocktail made by your hostess for the week) - as you settle in and relax in your serene space. Later, walk out on the wide sandy beaches - flashlights also provided for your use.
Walk 3/4 mile along the beach to the famous, USA Today reader-voted award-winning Carolina Beach Boardwalk - with loads of live entertainment, fine and casual dining restaurants and live music. The Ocean Grill Tiki Bar has live bands from 7-9PM all summer. That’s just one block up the beach.
Watch the CB Boardwalk Fireworks from your own Oceanfront Deck. - the Tiki Bar is a short 2 minute walk up the beach.
This is a quiet more private section of Carolina Beach, with a public access walkway but no public parking... making this a very exclusive, sought-after property for beachfront pleasures!! Be spoiled!!!
Your hosts live upstairs and have two additional rooms rented out as full luxury Bed and Breakfast style rooms (you can inquire for these additional rooms if you have extra guests who want to stay with you). The Host Owner and two BNB Guests upstairs have their own wrap-around porches and a family dog resides up there on the third level. All residents share the Private Beach Access. There is also a Lifeguard Stand at the nearby Public Access - which has no public parking. You will be allowed to park up to two or three vehicles. You can Uber or Taxi, Short Walk or Bike to everything here on the island. We are in the best, ideal, middle of the island location - quiet but walk to everything!!
Your hosts can arrange beachfront yoga, guided meditation, oceanfront custom dining, international cooking classes, seashell craft-making for the kids, private kayaking tours or walking tours to private island secrets... just ask!!

We were there for three nights only, but enjoyed ourselves immensely. We had a dog with us and while needing to keep her leashed, this was also a great experience. We could cook in the house, but the nearby restaurants were wonderful.

Perfect place to share with family and enjoy the North Carolina ocean. Location was perfect and easy access to ocean with a bit more room versus other properties. We enjoyed the warmth and character of the place. While we didn't exactly visit at the right time of year given the weather, we still enjoyed ourselves and Jeanette was a perfect hostess and did everything possible to ensure we had everything we needed.

Great time everything for family good time . Private access to beach. Teenagers could go to beach alone with restrictions and we could watch from porch. Loved porch coffee every morning on it watch surfers and sun come up every morning. The hostess was great greeted us with tiki drinks and friendly. Great place for family vacation recommend.Will return again.

Jeanette's Tiki house is great and the location couldn't be better. The wrap around porch is fabulous - I could sit there and watch the ocean all day. Super short walk from the front porch directly to the beach and there are plenty of chairs, toys and umbrellas to use. A nice grocery is only 10 minutes away by car and there are a few good closely restaurants that we enjoyed. We were especially happy to be able to bring our dog! We would love to stay here and visit Carolina Beach again!!
