About this house rental
Deja Blue is a beautifully decorated 5BR/5BA duplex with a private elevator servicing all 4 floors plus all new furniture and decor throughout.
The main level offers a fully stocked kitchen and large dining area with gas fireplace and smart TV. There is access to the front covered porch, and a Queen bedroom with private bathroom and a smart TV.
The middle level (next floor up) includes a bright and airy living space with tasteful decor, large smart TV, sitting area with plenty of natural light, and deck access to the middle level deck. A great place to relax and enjoy time together with friends and family after a big day on the beach. The twin bedroom shares a full-size bathroom with the living area and completes the middle level. Two additional twin folding beds are also available in each bedroom closet.
The top floor includes the master King suite with private bath, smart TV, and private deck access. There is also a Queen bedroom with private bathroom and smart TV.
The ground level includes the garage and the 5th bedroom including a Full over Full sized bunk bed with a pullout trundle and private bathroom. This room is accessed through the garage, or the elevator can be taken down to this area.
With all new furnishings and decor, and only a 6-minute walk to the beach, Deja Blue is your next Carolina Beach vacation destination! Take the bikes to the boardwalk for the seasonal fireworks or load the family up and head down to the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Parking instructions:
Parking for unit 2 is on right side of driveway. There is space for 5 vehicles depending on size. No parking in garage please! Any additional vehicles that do not fit at the property must park in paid public parking.
INCLUDED: WIFI, fully stocked kitchen, paper goods and ALL linens, including all bedding + bath + beach towels to save you the hassle/cost of renting them separately ($200-300+ value)! When you arrive, beds will be made with crisp, fresh linens and complete sets of fluffy towels will be available. Beach bikes, cooler, beach cart and beach accessories are also provided for your enjoyment.
You must be 25 years or older to rent this property.
Please notify our office if you're planning to bring a pet as the following pet policy will apply: A maximum of 2 pets are permitted. ONLY DOGS ARE ALLOWED. The pet fee is $250 plus tax per pet. A pet fee will be added after booking. No dogs are allowed without prior approval and payment of a non-refundable pet fee, per pet. Undisclosed dogs will incur a minimum $300 fine plus tax. Violation of our 2-pet maximum policy will incur a minimum of $300 plus tax charge, per pet, plus the tenant will be in material breach of the lease, and grounds for eviction will apply. The pet must be removed from the premises immediately, and your reservation may be canceled with no refund given.
**Please note: All service animals & emotional support animals must be disclosed at the time of booking to allow the agent to collect records and documentation to support the request in accordance with all state and federal laws. A pet fee will NOT be charged for true Service Animals.**
From April 1st – Sept. 30, dogs are allowed on the beach before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm. No dogs are allowed on the beach between 9:00 am -5:00 pm. From October 1st – March 31st, dogs are allowed on the beach at any time.
Sea Scape requires that all reservations have a signed rental agreement that will be sent to you via text message after booking. Once you've booked your stay, you will have 48 hrs. to complete the rental agreement to confirm your stay. Sea Scape reserves the right to cancel your booking if the rental agreement is not completed within 48hrs.

We absolutely loved this house! It was extremely clean and fresh when we arrived. We had a couple issues early in our stay, but SeaScape was very communicative and addressed them quickly. The house itself was perfect for our family of 11, which included two sets of grandparents; with the house having four floors, the elevator was a necessity. We spent a lot of time together on the spacious front porch, but the house was large enough that each group (adults, preteens, and young adults) had their own area in which to hang out to enjoy a little alone time when needed. The only complaint I have is there weren't any comfortable seating options on the main (kitchen) level for my elderly father-in-law. Occasionally, he would take the elevator to the third floor living room and sit on the couch, but a more comfortable seat on the main level would have been ideal for him. The kitchen was one of the best-stocked kitchens we've ever had in a rental. I would recommend bringing (or buying) kitchen trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent, as the supply they provide won't last more than a couple days, especially if you're traveling with a large group. There were more than enough beach chairs and towels. There were only two adult bikes, so you may want to make arrangements to bring or rent more if needed. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are contemplating renting this house again next summer.

The house itself was very nice, although we were very disappointed in the cleanliness. The kitchen floor and rug were very dirty. The first day walking around barefoot our feet were so black. The kids mattresses on the ground floor were stained. There were only two adult bikes instead of four. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes and cookware, although when we went to use the pans and flatware they were very dirty. Not sure what was going on it may have been the dishwasher but when we put a spoon in some cottage cheese, it turned the cottage cheese black. We ended up washing everything by hand even after washing in the dishwasher. The beds were very comfortable and the house is very nice. The chairs for the beach were a definite plus. Nice location to the beach.

The property was great for our large family trip. Everything we needed was provided and we enjoyed our stay. One of the issues we had were that the bikes were pretty rusted, and one we were unable to use due to the pedal being locked up. The other bikes worked fine after airing up tires, routing the chains on the gears, and knocking off some rust. The other issue was that the outside shower head was cracked and we could not use it, so instead we used the garden hose to rinse off after the beach. Other than that, the house was extremely clean and we would gladly return for another visit!
