About this cabin rental
Hurricane Helene Update: Our cabins are in good shape. Our lakefront and first pond have been damaged and will need to be repaired. The construction at our lakefront to remove sediment from the lake from Hurricane Helene has finished! We are very grateful for the work the Corps of Engineers and their subcontractors have done, but we are equally happy that the Beep! Beep! and engine noise have stopped. The lake will remain lowered until Spring, but that happens many years anyway. Our cozy romantic cabins are now peaceful all day. Romantic cabin on a mountain lake. We are near Chimney Rock, Asheville and The Biltmore House. We are only 1/4 mile from the site where the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed. We are only 18 miles from the new Tryon International Equestrian Resort. Our cozy one bedroom log cabin is built for couples and has a hot tub. We are located in the Town of Lake Lure and only one mile south of the charming mountain Village of Chimney Rock, NC. For no extra cost we have canoes, horse shoes, private fishing ponds, and a dock on beautiful Lake Lure. All set in a natural landscape with diverse flora and fauna. Plus, only a short distance away you will find the Lake Lure Beach and Marina, Historic Lake Lure Inn, Restaurants, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure Tour Boats, horseback riding, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, tennis courts, Chimney Rock Village and fly fishing on the Rocky Broad River! Also in Lake Lure you will find two championship golf courses and a municipal nine-hole golf course.

Very nice and cozy. Love the hot tub and gas grill, will definitely be back next year when the lake lure opens for swimming and fishing. It’s amazing to see the progress that has been done after Helene.

It was a great getaway for the weekend me and my husband and noticed everything was clean inside but there was a lot of dust on everything inside and then the night before we checked out noticed that there was a pest issue going on with some German roaches was not an infestation but there was definitely some activity. With us being an owner of a pest control company we were shock to see this.
