About Villa del Sol 101
Enjoy your stay at this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom corner unit luxury beachfront condo. Sol 101 combines rustic Mexican hacienda charm with modern luxury in a simple yet elegant way. Location...Location...Location. You are literally steps from the ocean with your own grassy yard extending from our over-sized patio... perfect for kids or couples. You are in the front row for AMAZING SUNSETS. During December to April you can literally view the whale migration coming thru Chileno Bay from our patio bed! The condo comes equipped with a full kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, Wi-Fi, A/C, satellite TV, and a two large television panels. Master bedroom has a king size bed with plush pillow top mattress, sliding glass doors that lead out to the patio area and a Flat screen TV. Guest Bathroom has double vanity sinks and both baths have spa-like showers overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Watch the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez or see the the whales breach as you take your morning shower!
The second bedroom has two queen size beds with pillow top mattresses, and a large closet. The custom built sectional sofa in the family room includes a full size pull-out bed. The patio area with the gas grill and large casual lounging area is perfect for entertaining family and friends. The views are incredible from this vantage point and the sunsets are simply stunning. Sit back and relax in the custom designed double chaise lounge and listen to the gentle crashing waves at night or sip a glass of wine as the whales swim by, right in your back yard.

Cabo Sport Fishing
When we purchased Sol 101 it included a 26 foot sport-fishing boat . La Mosca is now managed by our local Mexican friend, Captain Juan Ramirez at the Cabo San Lucas marina where he does fishing excursions with a specialty of light tackle and fly fishing. Because of this, we can offer our guests discounts on both half day and full day fishing trips. If interested, please let us know in advance and we can help you set it all up or call Juan ( see a picture of the boat docked in front of Captain Tony's restaurant )
Maid service is available on a daily basis for an extra charge.

Amazing spot for our family holiday vacation. Perfect walk-out location on the beach, with easy access to the hotel and pools. Owners were great, easy check-in and out. Very responsive.

We rent through VRBO every year and this is the first time I have given less than 5-star reviews. There were some pleasures, but in terms of value, it failed miserably.
Trying to contact owners for clarification on some items was extremely difficult. Finally VRBO had to get involved and I was given a phone number to contact the owner directly.
Arrival was stressful for us. We rented a car and simply finding the complex was difficult. Once on the property, it was hard to find anyone who knew where the condo was or how to gain access. There is a code needed to open the front door, which we weren't given.
As we paid a very high rate for this rental, my expectations were high. The condo is nicely situated on the property but is quite small. The kitchen is okay for one, but too small for two. The china was scant and mismatched. My general sense is this condo needs the owner’s attention. Lights were mismatched or were without bulbs, and kitchen items need to be updated.
Many of these issues could have been avoided if the owners had made the effort to advise us beforehand. There was no “Welcome” information in the condo, which is usually standard in VRBO rentals. We managed but had to figure most things out with frustrating trial and error This includes lights outside, working the TV, and a/c, etc.
The location is in the middle of lots of other beachside hotels between San Jose and San Lucas, with no restaurants or shops nearby I can't really recommend this property
