Welcome Doodle's Place, our charming Charleston-style home in Carolina Beach! This spacious and family-friendly 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bathroom home is the perfect retreat for your coastal getaway. Enjoy the best of both worlds - the tranquility of a residential neighborhood and the excitement of the beach community as you unwind in our private hot tub and fenced, turf back yard space! As you can guess by our name, "Doodle's Place", we are a pet-friendly home complete with extra amenities for families and furry friends! Nestled just over the bridge in Carolina Beach, our home is conveniently located one mile from the sandy shores and the vibrant Carolina Beach Boardwalk (closest public beach access). We are also located steps from a public boat ramp!
This home has a basement apartment that functions as a short term rental (Doodle's Suite) that can be rented separately.
Accommodations:
All bedrooms are equipped with sound machines, luggage racks, and blackout curtains.
Primary Bedroom (Bedroom 1): Unwind in the luxurious primary bedroom featuring a king-sized bed and a private ensuite bathroom. This spacious and coastal oasis, provides a comfortable sanctuary for relaxation. Sip your morning coffee from the second floor deck!
Guest Bedroom (Bedroom 2): The second bedroom offers a cozy retreat with a queen-sized bed, perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of beach adventures. Thoughtfully decorated, this room provides a peaceful atmosphere with access to the second floor deck.
Bunk Room (Bedroom 3): Ideal for families or a group of friends, this room is equipped with a twin over queen bunk bed and an additional twin bed. The playful and comfortable design makes it a perfect space for kids and adults alike. Linens for top bunk available by request only.
Living Spaces: The open-concept living area is perfect for spending quality time together. Relax by the electric fireplace in the cozy living room with ample seating, and enjoy movie nights on the large flat-screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your culinary adventures, and the dining area provides seating for the whole family as well as additional seating at the breakfast nook. The newly updated kitchen is fully stocked with spices, a blender, cookware, and anything you need for hosting!
Outdoor Oasis: Step outside to discover your private outdoor oasis. Our backyard is a haven for relaxation, featuring a delightful hot tub — perfect for unwinding after a day of sun and surf. The spacious deck is furnished with a large dining table for 8 plus additional shaded kids table! Let the kids and pets roam freely in the fenced yard, giving everyone the freedom to play and explore.The fenced turf yard space features a private hot tub, shaded lounge seating, a gas grill, and even a water table for the kids!
Pet-Friendly: We understand that pets are part of the family, and that's why our property is pet-friendly with payment of $100 pet fee. Your four-legged friends are welcome to join you on your beach vacation, and they'll love the nearby dog-friendly areas and fenced in back yard.
Kids Corner: We have a special corner of our living room just for the little ones! Complete with a kids table, books, games, and toys.

We loved this property so much! Great space for our family as we travel yo Carolina Beach often. My only suggestion would be lighting for the back deck & yard. Outside lights nor flood lights didn’t work so unable to use this space. We did use the hot tub, it was very nice! Hopefully we can stay there again on our next visit to Carolina Beach!

Doodles Place was very nice from the start. When we pulled up, the home was so cute and nicely decorated. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the swing on the front porch, walks to the pier, and the short drive to the beach. The closest beach is only a 5-6 min drive. They have Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Fort Fisher. We suggest paying for 24 hour parking if you head to Carolina Beach and park near the boardwalk (by the ferris wheel). The home had everything we needed for our week stay as they thought of it all. Every room has a fan and sound machine for anyone who needs it. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were perfect to the point I am going to buy a few for our home. We wish we had more time to enjoy the area even more, but time got the best of us. We ended our vacation heading to Island Bagels to grab some bagels and sandwiches for our ride home.
My only suggestion for the home is to upgrade the pots. I made a pasta dish and once the water started to boil the pot kept moving making the hot water splash out. No big deal, but something to take into consideration.
If your looking for a home away from home, this is for you.
